Often times parents make the right but VERY DIFFICULT decision to give up their children to a better life, sometimes it is not their choice. What we DO KNOW is that Anthony and Peter were meant to be family. What we DO KNOW is that Anthony felt safe enough, loved enough and cared enough to ASK Peter to be his father. That can be so hard for a child to do, let alone one who's been in the Foster Care system. Anthony made Peter a father and Peter made Anthony a son. They made an incredibly deep commitment to create a family with one another.

I am so touched by your family, your life, your purpose and your impact. I started watching your videos last week and have not been able to stop. In so many of them I find myself tearing up. This channel is so inspirational. As a woman over 45 with a house and no kids, you have definitely made me consider that maybe this is my path. A way to do my small part. Thank you for all you do and for taking the time to share it with the world.

Don't hesitate! Give hope to the hopeless and be blessed in return with love and joy in your heart. I've always wanted to care for kids as well but I've not gotten the opportunity to for now but i will once I'm stable financially. I've been to the foster care homes before and i have seen lots of beautiful kids, when i looked into their eyes i saw loneliness and sadness. A child desiring to be picked up cuddled and loved, i wished I could take one of them home with me every time I go there.... but knowing I couldn't do much to help them brought me to tears.

This vlog really touched my heart. There are so many things Anthony could have asked for but didn't. That's why he is so blessed. The bedroom makeover was really nice. We all knew he wanted the lights after he saw Kai's room. Peter, you are such a thoughtful and loving man. God bless you. I bought another plushie for someone who just went into foster care. That is so wonderful! My kids never asked for anything either, except one of them just wanted a kitten. It makes a difference when they are so grateful. My daughters have repaid me by caring for me 98 percent during the times my cancer made me weak. Happy birthday

Peter & David applauds for your great job. Anthony your birthday surprises continue.. Peter take some pictures of how bedroom is supposed to look like and kept up. Anthony is a teenage boy and boys don't pick up after themselves. Better to teach him and get in habits that everything has a place besides the floor. I told my two sons that if things were not put up they would go out. After one week of things being thrown out they got the hint. Everything was put in its right place...

The patience he had with your closet argument, quite chill, and the slo-mo bed dive, bed seems like a marshmallow. Those lights are the best, I’ve seen people use them for brightening up their background on livestreams.

I spend a lot of time in hospitals, and having some kind of reminder that I was seen made the dark days so much brighter, whether it be a simple conversation with a nurse or having someone come and visit me. Anthony’s wish to pay it forward to children in the hospital is so touching and I hope he exceeds his goal of 250! He’s such a warm, kind soul, as are you, Peter! You guys do such great work!

Man I love the vibe you give off with all these videos. I only found you like a week ago and have banged everything. You are a great human. You have another great human in your friend David. The kids are all so full of life. Watching Kai open up more and more over each video really puts into perspective the impact this has on people. I laughed at the end when you opened the garage. I see I'm not the only one who can't park in my own garage because its become storage. And also because Anthony was dancing with excitement. He exhibits so much behavior I usually don't associate with teens it threw me off to see him do that silly dance I see other kids do. Love it! As a single guy in my late 20s. You've really opened my mind to the idea of going down this path to fatherhood. Like an inspiration. I wish I lived in Charlotte and could do stuff with you guys!
