They just don't realize how those things build up into some of the most hyped moments of anime. I don't really blame battle Shounen here over Isekai spamming we have had for the past few years of anime. OP MC just trashing everyone just because has killed plot development imo. Not saying that is all Isekai but the majority of newer Isekai have garbage plots while the old 1s are def still carrying the genre imo. A lot of ppl won't understand but Isekai plots have polluted so many genres of anime these days. Training arcs are almost nonexistent these days in newer anime. Now and days it's this OP MC runs into this random enemy or gets randomly thrown into a huge problem for plot. Take Daimond no Ace if you have ever watched it. The reason that is the best Baseball anime imo is because the character development makes you love 90% of the characters outside of just the MC. Oh btw, they just announced the next season is finally being produced yesterday as well if you are a fan.

@@DHankins19 no I can totally agree with you isekai is over saturated but the good ones are still in my top ten battle shounen and isekai don’t really mix they just go off of tropes and isekai story and protagonist in poorly written stores go off these said tropes which make it seem like it’s the cause but it’s really not they are just using what they know people like from shounen. But the isekai that stand above the rest like tensura aka slime and Mushokou tensei aka jobless reincarnation make all the modern battle shounen hell even the shounen genre look weak in the story telling department those stories blow most if not all new age anime out of the water and deep into land so deep they are practically hiding in caves 😂

I would say and no flex here but a background of watching anime on release since like 2007 Shounen plots used to be way more focused on 1 main plot developing instead of random enemy fights or saving random characters to add to the MCs group. Even SAO was better imo in S1 before it just developed into Kirito saving some new character every season. It really killed the plot if anything. IDK shounen is just better when its well written but a lot of ppl are starting not to see it that way. Moshoko Tensai is insanely good at keeping it interesting with minimal combat. Tensura as well Rim developing into a Demon Lord was made so much better because of the way it was written up till the moment. Re: Zero is another of my favorites without being mainly combat focused but the plot man 👏🏾👏🏾

People don't understand that meeting are important part of a story building, Like take the 2 episodes, How Rimuru has created the safe haven which is japan in another world, food, tech, magic, science, living conditions, architecture, etc Where as in one episode we can see how yukki is behind, all the events happening to slime Orc lord, cry-man's( pun intended) attack, attack of Falmouth, etc are directed by him. The real fun of the series is the world building if you notice every group has a different definition of what happened as well as some huge misinformation getting said by a couple different groups to push stronger people into doing their dirty work you just weren’t paying attention lol

Ive watched plenty of channels breaking down Rimurus skills... But I liked this one the best. You didnt just ramble off a bunch of skills and site what they do... But kinda put into perspective each ones context at the time he received them. Like the angels ultimate skills... Didnt know much about them til now.
