Curt Gowdy and Tony Kubek were the best calling baseball games. Costas is obnoxiously painful to listen to and full of himself in a annoyingly subtle way.

Nationally, hard to argue, although I also liked Joe Morgan and John Miller were excellent. As for Bob, His time head definitely passed. Thinking it’s a slog to be in the booth with him. Guy is certain he knows everything. It flows from his demeanor and content. Sadly, much of it is at a low level of understanding of what is really relevant in the game. Guy has had a blessed career.
