It's a crummy commercial! Well, .......Uh......Uh......, Ya. This video is a re-do of our earlier Shelby Ford Mod motor vid. It now has about 6 minutes of new footage that quite a few interested customers wanted to see. This footage includes a tear down and inspection of the engine after more than a thousand pulls. If you are really interested in this engine, you will find more detail. If you interest is mostly in car street footage, you may want to skip this video. NRE- you guys are gods amongst men in the automotive world. The genius you come up with is amazing to watch from fords mod motors , hemis , and the pushrod LSs .... Absolutely amazing!!! You guys should build a motor for a GT350 flat plane crank and go wipe the floor with the supercar fools, (lambo, Ferrari, Bugatti,GTR, etc...) at the Nurburgring.

Tom, that is one amazing motor. The intake (alien intake?) is super trick. I love the whole engineered package from the intake to the clutch. Keep up the good work.

By far the sickest engine I have ever seen outside of a top fuel car. Sometimes it isn't JUST about max possible hp. The package itself can be the impressive shit.

As always Tom, you are an artist, it's cool to say you can build some big power package, but it's the way you ensure everything works together and it seems no detail is left untouched. Now, if only I was in the tax bracket to afford such a package (this is not a knock against you in any way, just a fact, envious of those who can afford your art!!!!:) Great work buddy!!!!!

I would love to see a 331 cubic inch GM or Dodge that will make 1200 + Horsepower but I will be disappointed because to make that kind of Horsepower a GM or Dodge engine would have to be 360 + cubic inches to make 1200 Horsepower and these Ford engines love to rev and when they do everyone can see what they are Capable of, regardless of what brand u like u have to admit these engines are Capable of some Serious Horsepower!!! #Blue Oval Nation

If you go to their website they break down other packages that range from a 550 ish hp that starts at $14,500.00 then a 785 hp carburetor fed for $24,000.00 and then you step to the above 1k game and the cost of a street designed 1300 hp 1300 tq, engine that is $35,00.00 and the track version costs $52,000.00(track version makes 2500 hp 2000 tq) as a garage engine builder and NOT a representative from Nelson Racing Engines i would estimate the package that they show to be as low as $30,000.00 and as high as $45,000.00 it honestly depends on how much custom CNC work there is in this package. and how often they do this motor, and judging by their website i don't think they do this motor unless you provide them with the block, and don't forget they need to install a lot in your shelby to utilize the full potential of this motor given it is a dual injected system.

This is an update, could you guys Build an 2013/14 Shelby GT500 5.8L engine similar to your NRE 5.4L Twin Turbo Shelby engine and still use 91 Octane? Also how much more HP could you Build into a Twin Turbo 5.8L Shelby engine and still be a Daily Driver and still use 91 Octane Pump Gas here in California? Thanks and God Bless! BTW...I plan to use a 6-sp 6R80 Ford Auto Trans with Paddle Shift Built by Power By the Hour aka PBH! This Combo will be going into a 69 Custom Built Mustang!

The only thing I do not understand is the 32 tooth resolution being changed to 60, this to me don't make sense, should it be 64 as to double the counts? All told it a awesome engine!

turbocharged engines have lower stress on the piston and rods cause they're always loaded.

no it's a 5.4l which is 331. the new one is a 5.8l which is a 351. but this year is a 5.4l

Seriously after seeing the 2020 Tesla Roadster...w/ 0-60 in 1.9 seconds...261 top speed...600+ miles on a charge?...I'm really unenthused about the combustion engine now....could just about care less how these auto companies are pushing more and more horsepower down our throats with gasoline driven motors....ITS OVER...TIME to move on
