tom you inspire me , the engine's your team builds is remarkable, I can tell a lot of time has been invested in the creations of these engines , and your very proud of your work . the only thing about the videos that kill me is the first intro about NRE with the purple colors and a tube tv .......? something a little more sinister would flow well with the following video. just my suggestion if anyone cares , either way keep creating these monster of engines .

You are mistaken, Bryce McEwen has a 590HP n/a RX7. There are so many n/a imports out there with >500HP N/A

1500 hp, 1112 hp on the wheels. 388 hp or 291kw loss in drivetrain, how do the drivetrain dissipate all that heat? even with coolers i can not imagine :-O

@emilen2 "We" refers to Americans. The thing is we may not make the most HP/L for naturally aspirated engines, but we make the most powerful engines per size in general. HP is HP, no matter how you get it. Our 800hp supercharged motor is more powerful than Euro/Jap 500hp NA motor. You can brag about high HP/L NA motors, but "we" still make more HP/L, HP/lb, HP/reliability.

@TheOfficialKC Who are "we" and in what respect do you mean "most powerful"? I referred to the quite common way American motors up the power: Either compressor (supercharger) og just displacement, and rarely I've seen the HP/Liter ratio at a level compareable to Japanese or European engines. So this was actually a thumps-up, tho I see it could be seen as somewhat pedantic. :)
