Red/Green colorblindness covers two forms of colorblindness - deuteranopia, the most common form (Green colorblindness) and protanopia (red colorblindness) that have a lot of similar difficulties. Something so thoroughly red like that map brings up a pretty big difference, though - for me, with protanopia, the red map is pretty painfully dark, and I'd have believed you if you said it was really brown and just dark. Someone in the dotan area of colorblindness doesn't have that sort of problem - having a lot to do with how colors are defined by wavelength and the ranges detected by different cone cells in the human eye, with green being close to the middle - but could have difficulty differentiating that map from a map in certain other colors.

I'm red/green colorblind (deuteranopia) and i can confirm that you have no idea what you're talking about. that map is red. it's not that we see a single color as something else, it's that when colors are next to each other (ie red and green) they look the same. whenever i tell people I'm colorblind they go "what color is this, what color is this" and I'm like i can see that. The problem is when I'm trying to find the red colored pencil in the box of colored pencils I PICK OUT EVERY SINGLE FREAKING LIGHT BROWN.

I love this series because it's like a mini podcast, plus entertaining fails by Jordan and Nick.

For nuclear attacks, you'd rather want a air detonation than a ground detonation. The atmosphere would disperse the fallout far better than a ground burst. While the ground burst would distribute the fallout many miles in all directions. Depending on wind speed.

I've gotten contacts and i can tell you they don't wear gloves. It'd be way too hard to put them in with gloves on (and tbh I'd be more nervous about them messing around my eyes with gloves than with just bare hands) they just carefully put the contact in your eye and make sure your comfortable with it

Oh lord, fondling eyeballs. lol. Talk about bad touch. That would be an ophthalmologist's job, the eye surgeon, not the optometrist. Though, the optometrist does have all sorts of torture devices, like that puff of air machine. You need steel toothpicks to keep the eyes open for that one. The sun being the enemy, that was a Simpson's episode wasn't it. Are Jordan and Nick going to build some kind of giant sun blocker now, or get their own nukes? Jordan would launch them at every bad driver, and Nick at people being stupid. I"d destroy that one light, that is always red, no matter which direction I hit from. In any event this was cool. Jordan is back on track. These last couple have been pretty interesting to listen to, very lively. I think the lesson of this one: sleep is good. It doesn't always seem that bad, with the color blindness, it's probably mild red/green. Then, you take a "put the shades of color in order", test and get less than 20 points out of 100. Then you know its more than a difference in perception, you are missing out on something. Such is life, though, being reminded by that, not so cool. Haven't a clue why one or the other will do well, in any one round. The only guess would be, that since, the wins aren't really the biggest point, only one really has to get in the zone and set the pace. There really isn't any pressure to this, even if they both want to win.

I'm deuteranopia which is red greed color blindness. That map just looked like faint red or orange. I have minor colorblindness so it's not as bad as you think. Still hard to see some green and red colors. Like today I thought a lavender car was blue and green sweater was brown.
