He is a great villain, just not one that we go face-to-face with... And I think it's a more interesting experience that way. If the game culminated in a showdown with the head of the enclave, it would make for such an action movie script. Keeping him as a villain in the sense that he is the cause of the horrors of our wasteland makes it much more charming - there's nothing we can do to gain any closure or retribution.

Its all the enclave’s fault, they didnt realize no one wins a nuclear war. Everyone either get blown to dust or the nuclear fallout gets you. Damn shame.

Imagine if MODUS thought that humanity is beyond redemption and is a pest like any other creatures in the wasteland. So in his Self defence mechanism he produces an army of Robot to wipe out every human. MODUS = Skynet.

Eckhart's plan to gain control of the nuclear silos to "retaliate against China" never made sense to me. Given his actions in setting up and ensuring he was the highest ranking official in the bunker, it seems far more likely that he planned to use the nuclear arsenal against Raven Rock and the Posiedon oil rig. Leaving him the unquestioned leader.

The more of these videos I watch, the sadder I am that Fallout 76 wasn't a more complete game when it released. So many Fallout fans just write-off the entire game and all its lore because of Bethesda's shenanigans and, honestly, that's not entirely fair. The product isn't the nightmarish hellscape its made out to be.

It would be interesting of Eckhart's simulation theory to be that he actually was the first human in the Fallout verse to jump into different timelines of the other games Bethesda created over the years and slowly gone insane from the jumping. Meeting the horrors of the Wastes, the divine evils of Elder Scrolls, Bethesda's accounting office being just a booze bar. He may have unwittingly be manipulated into being the Supreme Evil God of the Fallout verse with his paranoia easily written because that's literally how the players perceive him to be! How would you like it if a person's opinion dictated your life?

This story pretty much proves the theory that the Enclave started the war. Thomas Eckhart's plan required the war to work, and you don't make a plan based on something that you don't know for certain will happen. Thomas Eckhart also was a member of the Enclave, so would have known they were planing on starting the war, thus he set up this whole plan to take over after the war.

Because only one person at the Whitespring was going to try to stay after the renovation began; the others all had evacuation plans. (Sadly, the largest group was headed to Charleston, and we all know what happened to Charleston because the Raider leader was a blithering idiot who shot the Responders that wanted to make a deal instead of finding out his girlfriend was alive and in a cell there.)

Man, im really sad that fallout 76 was as bad as it was, because a bunch of things about the game were really good, the weapons, the armor, the enemies, the locations, the setting, the lore, it was all so good. If it was an actual single player fallout game it would definitely be my favorite of the series. I was also born in Virginia so that's a plus

Since all the skeletones in the dumpsters are civilian. So is it my opinion they where guests at the resort, and not the people of the bunker. MODUS probably and likely incinerated those in the bunker. wile the bots of the resort, just dumped them... pretty literarily. (Pun not intended)

I don’t understand how Thomas Eckhart becomes the president when on the Poseidon oil rig there would of been a president already there so how does the automated voting systems work? Wouldn’t the enclave on the oil rig be able to stop the automated system they had control over most of their equipment in fallout 2. @Widgeon TV

It translates to "Ragnar's Daughter" so the surname started with a woman who was the daughter of a man named ragnar. Then when surnames became a growing trend in "mostly" renessance era Europe, she adopted her surname as her family's official last name.
