Even if you don't charge it, if you start it on one side of the game's internal clock and release it on the next (very rarely, which is why the numbers are so consistent except the random hit) it counts as charging it slightly

sorry if this annoys you but Gunlance has the word GUN in it yet the GUN part of it was never used which bugs me since in the Reach test of the vid you never talked about the shelling which can provide more range as the weapon in question is a gun as well. It bugs me even more because you brought up reach in the Guard Potential segment and still didn't bring shelling into possible consideration. So while yes the video had great comparison aspects to it, it failed to take into consideration the main aspect and gimmick (shelling) of said weapon.
