8:20 - Horses of Bruinen --- it's surprisingly good. Got to play it in midweek magic shadow sealed - and almost every time I actually cast it the opponent conceded. Could possibly include it in constructed deck centered around Hayghty Djinn and Chrome Host Seedshark. IDK why it's not instant though - would not be OP and it would make sense for it to be instant for more defensive uses. In the lore I think it's when Glorfindel used river horses against the Nazgul (and in the mowie it was Arven) .. good to get those counters of from Nazgul in MtG too.. :)

BTW.. In that shadow sealed I ended up playing quite a lot of matches and with blur green scry synergy deck. Had Elrond Master of Healing and Palantir of Orthanc and multiples of Galandhrim Guide and the elf that gives scry when attacking. Also had Legolas, Counter of Kills - but he was total disappointment. Despite being right colors and hawing technically synergy he was just too weak for his mana cost and I cut him out of the deck. He get's +1+1 for each "kill" - nice - but how do you score those kills in blue green. Maybe "ambush" by untapping him with a scry - right - but NONE of my plentiful scry cards could scry at instant speed - so the "untap when scry" amounted to "vigilance but not always. Leggy would be OK if he was one mana cheaper - but still not too good - comparable to say - Lobelia. But maybe rather I would give him flash and first strike - so he could at least ambush an Uruk Hai Berzerker (lore friendly - no?). Other way to make him better would be to give him "tap (xx?): deal 1 (+x?) damage to (any) target (creature or battle?)" -which would make his ability to "untap when scry" actually good.

Gandalfs Sanctions - seem to ROCK. I'm bit surpriced - I added couple to my constructed deck that's centere around Electrostatic Infantry and other similar creatures - Trawler Drakes, Chrome Host seedsharks, Seize The Storm - couple of Haughty Djins there too - but was not impressed with the performance of the Sanctions.... But Numot managed to draft a deck with even more (percentage of)instants and sorceries than my constructed one :O . Hmm ... maybe I should ad Hronburg Rallies (but what to cut from my deck...)...

Yea - I get why Ooooliphant is not that great in THIS deck - but Lorien revealed is... I still think Oliphant is generally really good though.

Creatures backed up by removal. He’d have played the Olyphant and the Rohirrim probably if he didn’t pick up more copies of Sanction, the deck was looking good even before the late pick sanctions.
