I don't see the logic in needing a lot of creatures to play Grow Old Together. It tutors the creatures at random, so the fewer you have, the more likely to pick the good ones. The +1/+1 bonus is fine to get just on the creatures seeked. You don't need it to pump a ton of creatures already in hand.

It only searches the top ten cards though, so you want enough creatures to not whiff. You don't need a /ton/, but say, if you run 14 creatures there's a 25% chance you'll draw 1 or 0 creatures, which is a lot worse.

on mtgo, you could put a stop on your untap step... would that have saved you in that game against blue black?

Not sure why you would need a stop in the untap as no round of priority happens during it. Only thing that can happen in that phase is regular untap or a replacement effect

Sir, I understand you’re trying to make a career out of Magic the Gathering, but you need to stop blaming your “draws”! The way to win limited is by drafting and playing well. I suggest focusing on those aspects… not on luck!

Mate, It's a card game. There is an element of RNG that will absoloutely affect every one in a few games that is outside of your control. That's just how it goes. He understands that, which is why consistency is alot more valuable than highvlow.

Isn't the max win rate you can expect 60% with the best decks? Mana is so rng that this will never be a game that relys on skill, you need luck, I mean did you watch the games? He flooded out, no amount of "skill" can resolve that, what a stupid comment.

To improve, you have to analyze why you lost. If it was a play mistake, you find it and improve it for next time. But this isn't chess. You can make all the correct moves and still lose in MtG. There's a huge random component to the game.
