Here are the 4 bootcamps I most recommend!
1. CourseCareers is self paced. You can finish it in 3 weeks or 3 months. They offer tech sales roles only & are partnered with tech companies, so they’re usually able to get you a tech career quickly or a paid internship (up to $21/hr) while you wait to get hired on.
They only offer courses for people in North America. They’re just $449 with my discount code that gives you $50 off!

2. Careerist (the bootcamp I chose/USA Only)

They are not partnered with tech companies, but they fix your resume & LinkedIn to industry standards and they apply to 5 companies a day for you & set you up on interviews.
They also do interview coaching & provide really good interview cheat sheets. They’re $4k, but I have a $300 discount link that you use with their sales too! The discount Is attached to the link automatically.

Hey I had a important question for anyone. I am currently in this mix of becoming a software engineer or a sales engineer. I really love front end developing, but this sales engineer seems pretty interesting. I was thinking doing a boot camp on either career or even both but don’t know which to exactly go with. Is their a way to be a sales engineer at the same develop or program websites.

Leverage your analytical skills! Highlight transferable skills on your resume, network with tech sales pros, and consider courses or boot camps about tech sales. I recommend CourseCareers it's self-paced. Most finish it in 1 month. They offer tech sales, UX/UI & and customer success roles with an average entry salary of $75k - $95k. They are partnered with tech companies, so they can help you get interviews with companies looking to hire their graduates. They only offer courses for people in Canada & and the USA. They’re just $449 WITH MY DISCOUNT LINK: coursecareers.com/cyrusharbin

If I have years experience as an SDR but not in tech, and I get interviews but don’t get the job (I’m older and out of work) do you think paying for a tech sales boot camp with connections and job interview help would be good or a couple costly sessions with a job interview coach? I want the coaching but the start up connections could help too. Thoughts?
@techisthenewblack
@techisthenewblack Жыл бұрын
Hey! Both options have their advantages, so it depends on your specific goals and circumstances. A tech sales boot camp can provide you with valuable skills, industry knowledge, and connections in the startup ecosystem, which can enhance your chances of landing a job in the tech industry. On the other hand, working with a job interview coach can help you refine your interviewing skills and strategies, increasing your chances of success in any industry. Consider evaluating your priorities and weighing the potential benefits of each option to make the best decision for your career.

Age Restrictions? Would you recommend Technology Careers for senior citizens? Thanks
@SydneyLevy20
@SydneyLevy20 Жыл бұрын
I'm no expert and I'm not Cyrus, but age shouldn't matter for almost ALL jobs. As long as you can learn, you can earn. Think of the experience you're bringing to the new role and market it in such a way that it would contribute to your new employer. That act alone is a sale; by explaining why you should be hired, you're showing you can do the job before the offer. Heck, I'm going to take my own advice for once. Best of luck on your journey, Reginald.

@@SydneyLevy20 You are absolutely right. I always advise, you can get any sales job regardless or age, race, and sex, if you can sell yourself hard on your resume & at your interview. If you can sell yourself you can sell whatever the company is offering. I got my first sales job at 16 while still in high school. I've worked with people of all ages & walks of life. Your also right that if you can learn you can earn, this is very true in the world of technology.
