If you wanna get scared by an SCP video, check out "The Young Man" by SCP-Tales from the foundation. I know you've seen SCP-106 "The Old Man" so this video should really interest you! A lot of the channel's early videos are really great! Taking a first person perspective narration sort of approach. Really good stuff!

Earth's radius is about 6000km but it means it's circumference is about 40,000km. In other words it's head could reach Earth's core while still having it's tail peaking out the water but spread on the surface it can easily fit on a single ocean

A tread you will notice of these SCP videos. Is that some SCPs should be classified as a apoleon class. because the foundation cannot contain them. However, the only one to get that classification is 001 when day breaks. SCP:2317 explains the reason behind this

@@HazbinCovenWitch IIRC the basic gist of it is that the Foundation in that reality discovers a truth about the universe so terrifying that if anyone else were to discover it, it would be far worse than death, so they decide to mercy-kill Humanity to avoid others having to deal with it by attempting omnicide and releasing all their anomalies, as well as using forbidden knowledge to alter their own forces in anomalous ways (as evidenced by the stone slasher units and the captured MTF captain telling his GOC interrogators that humans should not feel pain). Though if they really wanted to mercy-kill everyone, they could have just used a few select anomalies to take over all the communications technology of the world and supplement it with psychic broadcasting methods, to beam memetic kill hazards of all sorts into the minds of everyone and everything all at once. But that would mean that there wouldn't be a story, so...

@@HazbinCovenWitch Very long story short: there's a few renditions as to why it happened and what it means, but the two main ones are, the SCP foundation discover what happens after death, and it's truly terrible, and if you know about this fate, you will be forced to experience it after you die. And, the SCP Foundation find out there's some "thing" that may have created everything we associate with "humanity", pain, empathy, sadness, joy, you get the idea, embedded in our being as a whole, and it's been unlocked, so the foundation decides it's better to exterminate humanity, spare us the unexplained fate. this is really not everything and there's a few videos out there better explaining both of these, I highly recommend watching/reading these but, that's the general idea

There’s this one SCP that I can’t remember the name of but basically it’s our sun being sentient. Runes will appear on its surface and a barrier around the whole solar system. But the reason for the barrier is something even larger than 169. It’s these massive azatoth like creatures and they are uncomprehensibly large and there’s hundreds of them and they ate everything in the galaxy leaving nothing but our sun and 2 other unidentified lights. Sorry I can’t remember the name but I honestly find that the most terrifying concept for an scp. And they’re all trying to get past the barrier.

The Earth is 40000 km in circumference, and the leviathan is between 2000 and 7000 km long. That's long, but not longer than the Earth Also, yes Captain Nemo is indeed canonical in this universe

If you’re up to watching a long SCP video, you should check out the full SCP-5000 series, it’s by far one of the best SCPs I’ve ever taken a look at, and the concept is terrifying.

I think the scariest thing is this could... scarily enough actually exist. Only 5% of our oceans has roughly been explored, if the blue whale can exist in the ocean (currently the biggest known animal). Especially when a 65 year million year old fish can be found off the coast of Africa today... the Coelacanth, for you Pokemon fans inspiration for Relicanth, nothing is impossible.

3:50 mmmm depends, I mean whales were once called leviathans, I'd consider the Blue Whale the biggest thing to have ever existed on our planet a leviathan. If mythological though then yeah needs to either be a serpent, dragonkin, or both much like the Hydra is in myths. If religious then... I mean anything goes, look at Bahamut that is constantly depicted in modern media as a dragon, but it's like just a giant fish or something right? Behemoth depicted as some sort of dinosaur reptilian thing, even Groudon from Pokemon, but it's like a giant hippo or something in Judaism right? Of which BTW also neat fact on Kyogre, being a killer whale and leviathan inspired, it's technically both the irl and mythical/religious aspects of the Leviathan.

The radius of the earth is 6000 km but that's the distance to the core the corcumfrence of the earth is the distance around which is 40,000 km so this thing at its largest estimated size would be as long as 1/5 of the earth

If SCP-169 is 8000km long and it still submerge in the ocean fully (lowest point in 11km deep). Does not that make SCP-169 a flat long body it would be like very long thin cardboard.

You can’t really carbon date something to 541 million years old. You’d need to use other types of radiometric dating. Other than that 100% believable.
