The problem is that Gai trains his entire life(what? 40 years or so?) to get a God level power for 1 minute and then DIE, but Naruto and Sasuke train for a total of 7 years only and get to God level because they wERe DeStiNeD t0. 8 gates gai is > Naruto bijuu mode and Sasuke EMS but being able to use one for all of their lives and the other for a single moment is one hell of a trade off
