Once i was waiting tha whole day for a bite, then evening since there is no bite i pour a cup of tea and a bowl of rice, as i was not paying attention Boom along with my fishing rod to the pond, nit only that, i even lose the fish. But what to do that's how it is sometime.

If you are growing corn, then plant beans and squash as well. The 3 sisters benefit by being grown together. It's a method older than the USA.

So excited about your trout pond, its a great idea! If you plan to not have a liner though, definitely make sure to get your soil checked. I would also recommend watching the earlier episodes of BamaBass' pond. It's been a fun series to follow along, and a great teaching tool for anyone interested in making a pond of that size!

Hey! Just wanted to give some advice if you haven’t done this already! I’d give the goats water trouts or more buckets of water as that many goats with that small bucket probably would empty quickly I’d try putting 3 buckets out and see how that works for the beginning! Leif you probably have already been told this but there is a nice camping area/boat launch and shore fishing area just a little further up that main road you were on. Tight lines, hope to see you out there going for Triploids sometime this season. There are also really nice walleye in those areas as well.
