Great coastal song! Everyone enjoys it when we play it on the beach.

Nearly impossible NOT to love this song - and Toes is the ULTIMATE summer song - that's just an anthem now. Blake Shelton has a great one called Honey Bee. Not only a fantastic song but a very sweet video. And his duet with Trace Atkins - Hillbilly Bone is another awesome one - and the official video is HILARIOUS. Enjoy :)

I’m glad that you guys chose to do this song after the Colder Weather reaction. This song is a lot more upbeat compared to it if that’s what you were going for. “Homegrown” is also upbeat in my opinion if you want to listen to it. I think you guys would like “As she’s walking away” as well but I don’t necessarily consider it upbeat.

The guys around him were indeed the writers. Toby heard them play it & said that it was the dumbest song he ever heard & it reminded him of his college days. I watched an interview where he said all that & that he would record it, if the writers played the music & were in the video. (They were around the living room in the video playing the music). You guys like Toby, so you should check out how he puts his humor in videos for serious songs. Examples of this are 'It's a little too late' & 'You shouldn't kiss me like this'. He's the best at videos. Another great video is his duet with Willie Nelson. 'Beer for my horses' is like a made for tv movie. It's great if you haven't seen it.

Hey the ‘four people to write the song’ thing. Anyone who’s there gets credit on a song, even if they just contribute one word, anything. Check out Ernest’s comments about More Than My Hometown. He’s credited on the song but he says he really didn’t contribute at all. He said he was passed out, asleep on the couch and when he heard the “ain’t that a map dot shame” lyric, he said he jumped up and said something like “That’s right! Ain’t nobody else writing this song in Nashville tonight!” - so excited. In talking about it tho, Morgan Wallen said yeah that was true but it’s about more than the lyrics. He said if Ern hadn’t been there who knows if the vibe wouldn’t have been off and maybe that song didn’t get written that night. (Check out Wallen’s interview on Theo Vonn) Great reaction guys. I do not like the first shot of the video 😖 overall--yes--this is a great summer song! make sure you take this on your honeymoon =) BTW: Lys---I think your idea of a home--made virtual reality vacation is EXCELLENT!! I TOTALLY need to do that since summer's almost at an end. I think I'm gonna' try that for this winter =). (side note: a "Red Solo Cup" and possibly some Corona's may have been a factor in the event by which Lysi came to be 😁)

Glad you liked this song, I was disheartened after your reaction to Colder Weather lol. An artist you guys haven't listen to but I severely wish you would is Tyler Childers. He has quite the range of music over his career, with bluegrass roots. A few sad songs of his to check out are "Follow You to Virgie" "Shake the Frost" and for more positive songs I'd recommend "Lady May" or "Feathered Indians" and/or "Charleston Girl" for more fun-type songs. Also make sure when possible to listen to the versions of the songs recorded at "Red Barn Radio" or just with "(Live)" in the title.

I feel like sometimes the producers of music videos go way overboard and overshadow the song they're hired to represent... exhibit A ^ ... the song is great without all this nonsense.
