1:38 Brother that is why you need at least a helmet. You never know what other riders or pedestrians will do. I ride with a full face helmet, knee/elbow pads, gloves and a "visibility" vest as my bare minimum. The bell is ok for bike riders and pedestrians but in NYC like you and I you need a horn too, for motorized vehicles. Keep up the great videos and ride safe.

That's a bit overkill especially when you're late to work to dismount quickly. I at the very least wear a helmet with head and tail lights and knee pads for quick changing and ease of carrying the gear. I would recommend wearing wrist guards and elbow guards in addition if one's day is well-planned, though.

First thing I noticed about this scooter over your other one is a much smoother ride and the camera isn't being jostled around when you hit bumps.

I preferred his older Segway Ninebot Max G30 for reliability. I now have the Ninebot F2 Pro which has shock absorbers and much quicker speed than both his scooters.

Got a G Max Ultra a few days ago, fun little scooter. Actual speed is 18 and the actual range is more like 20 miles. Back tire went flat on mine, leaking around the valve stem. It's a tubeless tire so I tried to seal it but no luck. Just happened, not resolved yet. I love your vids, have been watching for a long time, you are the man!

WOW NYC really gives some good bike lanes to ride and you can feel somewhat safe riding your bike to and from where you need to go unlike here where I live ugg!!! it may happen may 20 years from now

Really short ride lol. i love the Gotraxx G4. i have 2 of them. i recently went on a ride from Astoria to Roosevelt Island, into greenpoint and than to Jackson Heights on my Nanrobot D4+ 2.0 with my dad who has a Nanrobot LS7+ 2.0 NG. im gonna miss the NYC riding videos, hopefully you come back soon. Here is a Throttle tip for u guys that For some reason Gotrax never ever mentions 🤷🏻♂️ . The throttle only becomes active when the display changes from odometer to speedometer. So you don’t have to push the scooter faster or double pump the throttle, you only have to Waite two seconds after you push off, then the display will change from odometer to speedometer then hit the throttle and you are good to go. ………. You’re welcome : )

Great scooter AK! I'm trying to catch up on your videos, still a month behind! BTW, that bell looks the same as the one on my e-bike. You flick the lever down to ring it. Took me a few minutes to work that out at first

Awesome vid as always AK! I filmed walking across the 59th St. Bridge last week, man that pedestrian path is sketchy as hell! I literally had guys with gas powered scooters hauling ass right by me. I can't believe the city doesn't do a better job regulating that. Anyways, job well done on the video and keep up the amazing work!

You upgraded! That's awesome! I thought you only tested the scooter, but you own it. May it give you only what you want in your rides and in longer livestreams to take you straight to destination without dying battery. I was thinking how cool of you to be so confident on this machine. Not anyone can do this in between traffic when any person, building, vehicle can steal your focus. Astoria has changed drastically & it's ok. Could you please tell us what blocks/Street's & Avenues your passing by. The roads have changed. It looks like fun & a very smooth ride. Is it a stand up 🛴 or a sit down 🛵? These are the new alternative routes for cleaner air & I'm all for that. I enjoyed the video. Great Going "Action Kid".

About 3 bars. The breaking is pretty bad once you first but it but you can easily adjust that. Very fun ride and yes you weren’t talking to me but I answered sooo

NYC must have great problems trying to combine today's various modes of transport on streets laid out in about 1810 for horse-drawn buggies. In fact, those problems appear unsolvable. Are your health-insurance premiums affected by your owning a scooter?

You do know that you don’t have to hold the throttle. Cruze control activates automatically every 20 seconds.

Nope, that longboarder just ran into the intersection without slowing down! I am a skater myself and I hate to see that! Gives us a bad name! BTW, you need to check your squealing brakes! What happened to your old scooter? It wasn't that long ago that they replaced 5th ave. No it is a pot holed mess again!
