Is it bad that I find their two characters to be the most compelling in the series? Don't at all agree with the politics of the regimes they work for but they are much more interesting and two dimensional to me than most of the protaganonists.

I’ve watched a lot of interviews with this cast and this is the first time I’ve seen Rufus act prickly and irritable. I understand that he sees his character as complex and multilayered and doesn’t like being typecast as a villain, but his reaction to the interviewer was a bit harsh. I think Joel felt the same way, which is why he interjected and tried to bring some levity to the discussion. Notice when he got up and put his hand on Rufus’s arm? It’s like he was saying, “Chill, bro, it’s not that serious.” Both of these men are incredible actors. I’m enjoying the show and I hope they enjoy working on it (even though it involves answering annoyingly repetitive questions during press junkets).
