NZ’s colder airflow - turns windier again on Saturday

The same big high pressure zone is controlling NZ’s weather for at least another week, and right now it’s bringing in colder air - but the winds are easing for many. This means frosts and lower overnight temperatures.
However on Saturday those winds ramp back up again with a blustery, fresh, south to south-west flow pushing more showers into NZ (and snow flurries into the skifields).
We track the ups and downs of the temperatures over the coming days.

Hi there, we don't have the ability to add/remove temperatures at this stage - we're lucky to even be allowed to use the maps we have to be honest. Spent years talking about the Chathams and in 20 years of doing this I've never heard a peep from anyone there :)
