You lucky things. I would love to see a kiwi in the wild. Love the format of your videos. Keep adventuring.

Thanks! Yeah, we were so lucky to see it in the thick undergrowth. So beautiful!

This is much more artful than most sailing channels, yet - stink number of subscribers. It's almost as if life's not fair.

Interesting as usual, I tried to get into Parengarenga, 9th February in my Nova 28 'Connie', but there was an Easterly 1.6m swell running, got half way and turned round, too much white water, old charts and no local knowledge. Good to know there is plenty water for next time. Thanks for sharing.😊

Wise decision! I wouldn’t say that there is plenty of water. Shallow and shifting. We got lucky!

Wait....did you go into Paerengarenga harbour? Well done. What do you draw and were you ever concerned about depth. Gets pretty skinny at low tide. Lovely videos. Thanks!

We draw 1.8m. There were a bunch of shallow entries up top. We lucked out with calm weather and moved on rising tide close to springs high. We had good tips about the shifting sand bars.We didn’t count on getting into any of these potentially dodgy places and had a Plan B. Glad you liked it!
