Who would have thought Rnd 9 game away against Knights could be season defining for us given we urgently need comp points and have a tough run into rnd 13 bye. Knights winning last week without Ponga was a massive morale boost for them especially with Ponga's replacement Armstrong really impressing with good lines and blistering speed.Knights are up and down but when they decide to get into the grind they are a tough physical side. A late bench change for us would not surprise me if Maiu'u comes in for Laban who like many youngsters coming into grade looked like he needs a rest from first grade. We MUST cut out basic errors / giving away silly penalties and concentration lapses or we will be in a real close dog fight which is exactly what we need to avoid. After a longer than usual gap to refresh / reload and perhaps change a couple of things a little before this game I expect us to lift our overall performance and win by about 10 something like 22 / 12 but if we allow Knights the same sort of freedom Titans enjoyed we will be in real danger of falling to another loss.

Yeah I feel the same about Laban and Zyon potentially changing, but who knows? Totally agree on the unforced errors, really annoying part of our game that was there all through the back half of 2023, we just defended better so people didn’t notice as much. At times we were up around the 15 mark last year too. Needs to go from our game

Yeah very frustrating but I doubt Webby changes either to be honest. He seems to pretty fix in his ways from that perspective.

Last 2 games we’ve lost the battle in the middle & been outplayed by the benches which has forced errors across the team. With Bunty back hisvdefence in the first 20 minutes has been missed. Expect to see a good performance from the bench & impact from Capewell. It’s a must win game. Go the Wahs

Better Bench than the last two games. If we were going to have Zion in, we would have to probably drop Tom Ale or Laban instead of Bunty for Zion. Bunty Balances out the Middle with his defensive work. Which Saves some Energy for AFB and Barnett. Zion and Ale are more similar. Whats the word with the Injury to CHT? I like having him around for Backs Cover.

In general I think he’s solid but we have had some poor communication on that left edge over the past couple of weeks. You know that’s one thing Webby would have been pushing this week at training

@@thewarriorholic he'll be sweet as long as he trusts his insides & numbers off, overall i hope they don't get frustrated when all the pressure they've been putting sides under doesn't turn into points, as long as they stick with what's been working for 'em the points will come

I love DWZ but he gotta stop holding that jaw and trying to milk penalties cos it slows down our momentum. I feel it’s not just him but at times some of our guys try to influence the refs. They just have to get on with it when we have momentum.
