Cinematography is great, dialogues are natural and real. Overall a great short film from a piece of literature by O'Henry.

I learned about this back in 6th grade. I didn't see the video because it came out two years ago. The story I read was exactly the same. I remember this story so well and I still have the book.

I came here to research about this from my book . And it's beautiful story. O Henry is definitely a great author . If anyone is reading this I would recommend you his THE LAST LEAF & THE GIFT OF MAGI these are beautiful

O.Henry's stories were master_pieces with all of those shocking surprising endings. Remember this interesting story from the college when I was an English translation student. was literally shocked when I reached the ending paragraph. Still remember that impressing line:"but enough to change a man into a bad one!"

Love the short film, lots of comments saying it’s not authentic with the T-Mobile and watch, but I think you guys did a wonderful job with the speech and vibe/setting of the film. Helped really set the scene for the story.

In 2003 I was 9 years old in 4th grade. That's when we had to take state tests and this particular story always stuck with me because of the plot being very interesting. Good story.

I read this story in 7th grade back in 2006. At the time, I was age 12 and very intrigued by the concept and plot twist. About 15 years have passed and I thought of the story. Luckily this video is just how I remember the story. Very polarizing. I myself haven’t become very successful as planned. But I still have time

So beautifully adapted. After Twenty Years is one of my most favourite stories. The video has made the story more interesting for me. The characters of Bob and Jimmy is quite close to O.Henry's depiction. Had their creator been alive, he would have been happy to see his 'best chums' alive. The music in the intervals is so charming and immersive, it transports the viewers into the imaginary world of O.Henry.

I learned this story in my high school, that way more than 10 years ago. 💜

It's 2024 and I am watching it for my college exam, it's been 7 years since this video published here, maybe in future I will again stumble on this video..I hope for nostalgia iin future..✌🏻

So Bob finds it hard to believe that the fake Jimmy is really Jimmy because he's so tall... and yet, the REAL Jimmy is much taller than the fake Jimmy. The real Jimmy doesn't have a Roman nose, nor does the fake Jimmy have a pug. Ah well. Other than that, it's well acted, and very faithful to the short story.

I studied it in 11th grade and then now 3 year of being a literature student I have it. I love English literature ❤️
