New Orleans Saints 2024 Regular Season Win Total prediction. In this video, James Skrmetta reacts to the New Orleans Saints regular season win total of 7.5 wins. PFF's Sam Monson and Steve Palazzolo give their thoughts on the New Orleans Saints projected regular season win totals for the 2024 NFL season. As of June 2024, bookmakers project the New Orleans Saints to win 7.5 games in the 2024 season, which is a slight decline from the 9 games they won in 2023. This places the Saints' win projection third in the NFC South. The New Orleans Saints struggled to finish their 2023 season with a winning record, but they did end up with more victories than losses for the first time in Dennis Allen’s five years as an NFL head coach. Allen’s aging defense and recently-overhauled offense made for a team that oddsmakers expect to underachieve once again. DraftKings Sportsbook released their projected win totals for 2024 this week, and they have the Saints falling short of last year’s nine-win season. I do not know what the upside for the Saints is, but I do think the roster is under-rated. Add in a new offensive coaching staff and at least theoretical improvement in play calling, I see an improved team. The herd mentality...the narrative that gets adopted by the mass media, well I will take the contrary. So yeah I am taking double digit wins.

It’s becaue they have Cousins. The new toy, is why ATl is being over rated. Just like Carr made the Saints over rated last year. A new Qb on a team rarely ever is better than he’ll be in year two or three. So I’d expect the Saints to be slightly better this year.

Cousins is coming into a better situation than Carr did last year. The Falcons offensive line was ranked #5, and they had greatly underutilized weapons last year. Now they have a better head coach (anyone is better than Arthur Smith) and a better OC from the Sean McVay tree. They may be overrated, but they made a lot of impactful moves, too. They could actually live up to the hype. Their biggest question mark is their defense.

@@dl9232 I'm not sold on their HC at all, although the Falcons should have the same OC hype as the Saints. The Falcons on paper beat the Saints at WR, TE, OL, and RB. But that Falcons defense has serious questions.

The second I here Ryan ramczyk name I know they have know clue what’s going on with the team. Last year ramczyk played below average he’s acting like bringing him back they’ll get his 2018 version.And bresee had ah pretty good season with the lack of playing time 4.5 sacks was 3rd for the saints If I’m not mistaken. Do you really think Vegas is like if they active ramczyk put there win total to 8.5?

Dennis Allen being our coach is the reason why everyone thinks we will be bad. If Sean Mcvay or Kyle Shanahan was our they’d have us as a top 3 team in the NFC

If DC doesn't get hurt at Greenbay and they win the division, then maybe PC doesn't get fired and then we don't get the staff overhaul we all wanted. Then people would really not like the trajectory of the team. The national media see NO from afar and see an underperforming team that choked on an easy schedule last year. The Saints could take a ton of people by surprise this year. Over 7.5. Under gets a lot of people fired.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I don't believe the NFL would have us playing prime time games in Arrow head and Lambeau field if they didn't expect us to show up this season with a play caller. Our schedule is literally screaming 10wins, I'm just banking on the falcons being the falcons. Anyone who believes in Tampa isn't aware of their situation or how impactful losing Canales is going to be, just look at Geno Smith's downfall last season after Canales left and tell me Baker is going to be any better

Does it matter if the Saints get slept on? Find out at the end of the season. They were expected to win the division last season with their "easy" schedule. Last season was a disappointment. Saints had the two best QBs in the division at the start of 2023. If Carr got hurt or played badly, Winston was supposed to be able to step in. That didn't happen. The Saints were a disappointment. It'll be more of the same.

Think about this logic for a minute. "I don't know if Ramcyzk is healthy enough to play, but *IF* he can hobble out there on that bum, sawdust knee of his, I'm banging the OVER!" That's just wild to me. Does he really expect an injured player whose very future as an NFL player is in doubt is going to play so far above replacement level that he moves the needle on the win total? It's just lazy analysis. I don't gamble, but if you're going to go with the OVER 7.5 I do suggest you shop around for the best price. They're all at 7.5, but the price ranges from -110 to -130.

We have to be realistic. If I recall correctly, Carrs issue at the Raiders was slow starting, so it’s not surprising that he had a better back end of the season. So he’s going to still slow start to some degree. Then you add in the completely new offensive scheme, which will run first and struggle to get going because it’s new. If you watched that recent Tom Brady interview, he talked about his teams success depending completely on his ability to make the correct play call. Carr is not on Brady or Brees level. So on the bright side, we may be better on O, because this new scheme takes that responsibility away from Carr. He’ll still make some checks at the line, but it won’t live or die based on his calls. With that said, they will still come out slow due to the newness and the tougher schedule, but I’d expect them to be better later. The floor is 7 the ceiling is 11. Split the difference 9-8. At least you win the o/u 7.5 😊

I've never seen a team completely collapse the way the Eagles did in 2023 and then turn around still be hyped as a Super Bowl contender. I think the Jason Kelce retirement is gonna hurt more than they anticipate.
