Early Comments and impressions:
The specs for the TPA are for 4 ohms. Since the CHN-40's are 8 ohms I am probably getting more like 25 watts for the mains and 100 watts for the Tang Band sub which is 4 ohms. That's if my 24V 5A power supply can supply it. I don't plan on playing it that loud anyway.
The speakers are awesome, and I can see them being used in many similar applications. The amp's power, adjustable crossovers, remote, and various inputs is nice, but I do have one annoying little gripe that I could not fix. I get a low level "Hiss" when the source begins to play. Not when it powers on, or when the volume is turned all the way up. Just when the music starts. A very quiet background "Hiss" that sounds like the decay of a cymbal during quiet passages on all inputs(Thumb and TF drives, Bluetooth, and 3.5mm line in). I checked all connections, tried some wire shielding tape around the power, line in, and FM antenna wires to no avail. The amps specs list harmonic distortion and noise at 10% which seems a little high to me, but I really don't have the expertise to diagnose the problem. I will follow up when I get more info.
