Well he ain’t wrong about the government but it doesn’t mean you go out and shoot innocent people. We are actively watching society crumble, the system we’re forced to live under coming apart at the seams, and then add to that all that is being exposed in this wicked world, it’s no wonder a lot of people can’t handle it. This is just gonna get worse I’m afraid.

We live in a country with an inspired Constitution, free elections (which only 55% at best participate in), constitutional rights, wealth, etc. Why is it that we teach ourselves and our children that our government is to be feared, that our government is evil, out to get us, not to be trusted. It seems to me that we should have more civilians serving and honoring their country. It is great that we appreciate what our soldiers to in service to our country, but it seems to me that we should have more citizens that honor and serve our country. It would be amazing just how much greater we could make our country if all US citizens could be honored for their service to their country.

Once they child is over 18, the parent can do a lot less than you might realize, even when they have valid concerns and call for help. If the adult child then lies to the police, there's not much they can do.

He's very well spoken as a sheriff. I agreed with a lot of what he said. I'm glad he highlighted mental health services needing to be improved as well as already on the book gun laws not being enforced.

Some will see him as weak. The shooter should not have been allowed to kill himself. He should have been made to face a jury of his peers, like Trump.

One thing that would help is if every police department, including county sheriff departments started having a social worker in every police car to handle situations where they have a call about DV, someone threatening Self harm, etc. They would even come in handy during a good number of traffic stops. People call 911, or have 911 called about them, because they are having a crisis and need these social workers right there to start the process of getting help.
