This Guy has My Taste. I am a massive Beatles fan,adore The Smiths and Love Oasis. I can`t believe how good He got Punk Songs,off Definitley Maybe,to work so sweetly. He clearly has patience. I probably would of cut some of the tracks because i never thought certain bits (Like the end of "Rock And Roll Star) would work,at all,on an acoustic. Then i see a Stone Roses cover. Wow. His voice is just so Great. I am in Love with His voice. I would like to hear Him with a Full Band,recorded in a good studio,by a good engineer. I am a Songwriter,and play Acoustic Guitar (I can`t get the hang of solid bodies) His feel is sublime. In my book,"Feel",often Trumps Technique. He isn`t a Great Guitarist,but He plays Great Guitar. Great timing and He interprets songs so well. I discovered Him the other day,by chance,and ended up listening to Him for Hours. He has a Recording Voice,and He could be fantastic. Maybe co-write Songs,like Liam does. I can`t believe that a Band,looking for a vocalist,haven`t snatched Him up. I would love to hear Him singing my Songs,but i don`t have great equipment. Be patient with the Guitar. KZfaq has tutorials for every level. The majority of people give up. Your fingers and joints in Your fingers will hurt at first. I can play for 6 hours now,with no pain. I have built up callases (Spelled that wrong.Ha ha)Play to a beat or a Metronome. I made the mistake of not doing that,so i ended up having to learn it,down the line (which is crazy) start of slow and precise. Fast and sloppy is no use. Make sure the strings ring purely when You play a Chord. Set a slow tempo and increase it a bit at a time. I Love Guitars,and will play till my fingers pack in,or my ticker does. I tried the gym. I quit very early on. The dsire to have a great body,was clearly not worth all the effort. Ha ha you get Gym Guys,and Guitar Guys. My passion for Music drove me. I ended up playing in Gigging Bands for Years. Playing with other people is better than Bad Sex. When you hear your instrument "Chime"with theirs. It`s a Goose Bump moment. I hope You don`t mind me offering unsolicited advice. I just saw "Beatles" "Oasis" and beginning Guitar.and i couldn`t help myself. There are some Fantastic Guitar teachers on KZfaq. There are some shit ones too. Having knowledge is not enough. The knowledge has to be explained in a way that feels right. Like at school,Great Teachers are rare. Let me know how You get on. and if You pack it in,i will buy Your Guitar off You. Ha ha. I did get most of my Guitars from quitters.
