I could be wrong, but I don't think the polls are capturing how pissed-off a lot of women are right now. Just about every woman I know is irate about the overturning of Roe, including ones who don't normally get involved in politics. Heck, even my life-long conservative mother is voting for the Democrats, now. We're seeing record turnout in a lot of places in early voting, and we already know early voting favors the Dems. I think we may get a surprise blue wave.

I'd like to point out that having to repeatedly check to make sure you haven't been arbitrarily scratched from the voting rolls is effing disturbing. I'm in Canada and the only reason we check our registration is if we move between our last income tax return and election day. Our registration is updated annually when we do our taxes. Nobody can screw with it. Ever.

Attended that Phoenix Obama rally, it was great! Huge crowd, too many for the venue, large group had to remain outdoors but Obama and Senator Kelly went outside first to speak to them directly 💙

There are a lot of politicians I don't like, but there is something about Kari Lake that gives me the chills and creeps me out. Not sure why, but she scares me. Hope she doesn't win, but I wouldn't be surprised if her race is extremely close and they do something underhanded like misplace some ballots to help her the win.

’m surprised how in a democracy it’s also just accepted that “the party out of power almost always wins the mid-terms”. I hear that so often in US media, and the sort of resignation to it sounds strange to me. Historical trends, I get, acceptance of future outcomes based on it, when you can vote and change it, I don’t.
