My family are farmers. They made more money in Obama's years than any time in their lifetimes. So they voted for Romney. Presidents aren't the only reason for one's success or failure. They run the whole country not just one farm. Your family may have been having a great time, but how about the 9 or 10% unemployment rate versus the 3.7% unemployment rate Trump was able to get to. That's a lot more people without jobs.

I think it's funny that the Republicans clapped at Obama saying he had "no more campaigns to run" as if they magically forgot he was a two term president ending his second term -- by virtue of constitutional term limits, saying he had "no more campaigns to run" was just stating the obvious for the idiots in the room. That would be like the Queen saying "I'll hand the crown over to my son when I die" -- yes, ma'am, I know, that's how your constitution works. The Republicans clapping over that were just looking for anything to hold over the incumbent -- and being ridiculously childish as they did it.
