I am going to buy your app just becauae you are the only person talking about bi-directional use of elm I literally only want to be able 1 purge my abs on a 2008 Mazda3, 2 turn on the fuel economy system that is on some cars lcd display by default in some markets but its buttons on the stereo that activate it the stereo connects to can bus obviously I do have a CAN bus enabled aftermarket stereo not one of the Android Chinese ones a very reputable brand one and I just got a module that was able to do most of the features that came with the stock head unit including showing that information but a feature has to be turned on first and it seems head unit dependant it is on all our vehicles obviously because I can see the information on any elm dingle APK that I throw out it. But yeah it is not battery viable to get average fuel consumption and stuff by forcing the app to always stay open as it drains my phone battery badly I'm pretty sure it is just knowing the Pid relevant and implementing it which may be possible using some of the software you've already made but I was getting heaps of dropped connections using the sniffer app or I wasn't doing it right I'm going to keep watching your videos to make sure I did but if you could tell me when you see this if that should be possible using this adaptor and the right piece of software is possible or if I'm completely wasting my time either way ID like to support you so I will buy your app when I get around to adding my card back to Google Play as I lost it or I may just do it in a minute I'm kind of a spur-of-the-moment person either way love what your doing keep it up think I may think I may even have found some open source Windows software that look promising in another video someone has made I'm not sure if it's regarding particular dongle I have or not but from what you said sounds like they are all similar in another video I kind of wouldn't mind a cable version because Bluetooth is not very high bandwidth but then again it is only small bites of information I would imagine kind regards
