Not many people know this but this album cover (Cause of Death) was originally supposed to be the cover for Sepultura's Beneath the Remains until something changed that.

One of my favorite concerts was Obituary and Napalm Death in 1996ish. Small venue in Vegas but they killed it. I left sweaty, bruised and had my ears ringing for days afterwards. Amazing live band!

I love that you dig deeper into death metal genre.Maybe some Death ( band) in a near future? The lyricism and musicanship of Death remains undefeated to this day ( rip "Charles" Chuck Schouldiner).

If your going to touch on any more death metal I would suggest Bolt Thrower. Nothing fancy just straight up heavy riffs and groove. IVth Crusade, For Victory, and Those Once Loyal are all killer albums.

One of the first albums I ever bought was Obituary, cassette at like age 15 or 16(early 90's) and had no clue who they were, Found out real quick....they go hard!!, Cheers and cool vid.

John tardy voice is one of a kind & very consistent even live. The guitar works has very eerie feels to it. One of my top 5 of all death metal bands from that era till today.
