Thank you so much for this. I switched from SLOBS when the drama with them was going on and then took a break from streaming. Since coming back I have been so lost. I 100% prefer long in depth videos like this than having to search for individual videos for each topic/setting especially since I don't know what to look for lol

Unfortunately I didn't get to perform because the director was super abusive and awful and I called her out for her behavior and told her to stop yelling at us so she kicked me out of the show ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ high school theater was truly the wild west. After nearly 5 years of doing weekly livestreams on youtube for my crafting channel using just my webcam and mic, I got the nerve up to start using a DSLR, and wanted to spice things up with some alerts and overlays.I spent all day trying to figure out OBS, ended up with a semi-ok quality livestream. Wish I had found this video beforehand. This is now bookmarked, and I can definitely see my future youtube recordings and livestreams both benefitting. Now to dip my toes into Twitch for my gaming as well. By the time I'm done I'll probably be able to recite this video word for word...lol. Thank you so much for this amazing resource!!
