I think they were actually able to use the audio directly off the sound board which is why it sounds so incredible. But I was there and can confirm that they sounded really really good anyway. It was an incredible performance

Not the first time I see Obsequiae being compared to Windir in a way, and I also see it. There is this certain something. Love both. Hope to see Obsequiae in or around Germany some day.

Windir brought Norwegian folk/Baroque motifs to Folk/Black Metal. Obsequiae brought Medieval motifs (modal constructions, interplay between raised and lowered 6th, diatonic, no raised 7th in minor).

Seeing this in person was the first time I ever shed tears at a concert. Tanner's commentary in between songs was so heart warming and sincere.

Yeah it was literally perfect seeing them in the mountains like that and we couldn't have asked for better weather. It was sunny and low 80s

Getting to see Obsequiae live in the beauty of the Great Tetons is a memory I will remember forever. Thank you for sharing this with us so we can experience this dream-come-to-life over and over again. Can't wait for FIRE IN THE MOUNTAINS 2024!!!

This performance is PHENOMENAL. The recording and production as well, SUPERB. This is seriously SPECIAL. Wow. LOVE how Tanner jumps in to do vocals during Against All Feudal Lords

I wanted to go so bad. I cant miss the next event, not if this is whats happening. Im being moved to tears in my home over this. When I got married last May I recited Ceres in Emerald Streams from memory to my wife as part of my vows. Obsequiae holds a very special place in my heart.

I was there, tripping on San Pedro cactus and loving those fantastic melodies. Everyone I saw in the crowd during Obsequiae's set seemed so happy. It really showed just how positive and joyous metal can be. Pits were forming with everyone running around in a circle and gently tagging each other, as you can see in the footage. Best festival ever.

This seriously ranks high in my list of concerts I regret not attending. Eoghan gave me plenty of fair warning and reminders… I was slacking. The backdrop and atmosphere seems perfect. The sound is incredible. So different to see so many smiling faces in the pit, mid day at a metal fest. As opposed to angry, tired, hot ones 😂 Cheers guys. Here’s to some 2023 shows hopefully. Obsequiae, Inexorum, Aduanten & Majesties would be the dream line-up!!! (With apologies to Carl & Matthews fingers)

One of the greatest live performances I've ever seen and heard. Envious isn't even the word I would use to describe the feeling knowing that people got to watch this up close in this setting. I am thrilled for them, and the fact that this incredible event exists. I will make it here. I just hope Obsequiae is there when I do.

This band is so damn underrated, the sound they create is one of a kind and beautiful. I love every second of their songs! Im amazed how still the crowd was. I would be going full satan with dancing and running around to this! Live they sound even better and i cannot wait to see them live!

This must have been magical. The part at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="550">9:10</a> is one of my all time favourites. It takes me to a place where I don't want to come back from. I've never been a huge fan of black metal, but this, this music is just surreal. It'd be awesome to catch them live in the UK.

Was present for this incredible set and to remember it now seems surreal. The glorious Tetons in the back, the warmth from the sun - it was a magical experience. I am sad that this festival will not be returning to that beautiful part of our world. Inquiring mind - what is the song used during the drone footage of this?
