I was bought a ticket to this movie, didn't really know what it was about and while a decent cut, this trailer doesn't come close to selling how great a movie this was. I was in a theatre full of people laughing and enjoying every second - on the best indie rom-coms I've ever seen. Heavy topic? Sure, but life gets heavy sometimes - it's much more bearable when we can laugh at life when it farts in our face :)

Italianyeasty 93 Well "who is right or wrong" is a part of the problem, because "humanists" trying to make from it, some kind of moral discussion when the truth is simple and very much scientific.Science knows only one definition of life. It applies to humans, other animals, plants even simple single-cell organism like fungi or bacteria. Life is a number of biochemical reactions which make cell works. Respirations, metabolisms of all compunds, DNA/protein synthesis, cell divisions, cell-to-cell signalings, etc.Also there is only one definition of human as a species. Human is a species of living organism which has proper genes in its genome and those genes encode proper proteins or RNAs which play proper function in organism's cell or cells. From scientific/physicial/biological/etc. point of view zygote and fully-grown male/female is the same.

It's interesting how the whole abortion factor was a minor point in the trailer yet it's anyone seems to be able to focus on.... Anyways, looks like an adorably awkward romcom that I would love to watch! :) (and, hey, maybe I won't even get any death threats for not being offended by abortion. Who knows?)

Way I see it there are a lot of horrors in this world and bringing something so helpless and innocent into without being sure and ready to take it on happens way too often. The child pays for the rest of his or her life why do that. When I got pregnant back in 2010 I was 23 nothing depended on me. I was having the time of my life till maybe a week after my 24th b-day I found out I was pregnant. That poor thing was drunk the entire first month of it's life. That honestly was the scariest thing I had ever faced in my life. I didn't want children I knew how harsh the world could be. I told my sister I rather die then have a baby. I wasn't ready financially nor mentally by any means. Family said how great it would be they'd help me the baby would be the best thing that ever happen to me. So the pregnancy went on. I was 135 pounds before the pregnancy at 9 months I was 192 pounds. I had a bad pregnancy and I'm face with more then likely having serious health problems before I'm 30. My knees are bad from the weight. I made the choice to not have another child. Health reasons and children aren't for everyone. But in my 8th month of pregnancy I was so depressed I honestly wanted to take my own life I didn't tell anyone how bad it really was. I had no attachment to the child that was in my womb. All I seen is how I was bringing something into the world because I was a idiot and I was just going to fail her. I knew within my heart I was not ready nor would I ever be and I was so mad at myself for allowing family to talk me into going through with the pregnancy. It felt as if the walls had done closed in and I was literally drowning a little more each day. I had no husband or boyfriend to go through it with me to give me reassurance of any kind. I have notice it can make things much easier when you have a partner versus feeling like you'll have to do it on your own sometimes. My now 3 1/2 yr old daughter wow lol busy busy. She was the easiest baby in the world I do love her to pieces. I have lots of nieces and nephews so taking care of a infant or child in general I knew what I was doing. Just at the end of the work day no one was coming to pick her up. It hit hard a few months after having her I'm going to have to raise her every single day till she's able to support herself. How was I going to do that when I couldn't support myself. The reality just because people make mistakes they shouldn't be forced to live with it because in the end a child will be paying for it not the adult. Then that child becomes an adult grows up to be better then their parents or turns out to be the not so good of society and repeats the vicious cycle over and over again. I've met a great guy moved out of the city we have a nice big house out in the country as time passes the load seems to get a little lighter each day. People and children shouldn't be made to suffer and pay for the rest of their lives. Everyone, EVERYONE woman should have a choice and SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE THAT CHOICE. Because at the end of the day we still have to live our life we will have to play that hand that was dealt for that one time we weren't using our brains just that one time. I wrote this because so many are saying such hateful things about this movie. But truth is, against abortion or not whatever your opinion is.... People wake up! Maybe you don't know what it's like to not want to go on when you have something so helpless needing and wanting every day. And you don't have the means and resources to give. But you're all they have so you have to go on. You stay awake at night wishing and begging for help while they sleep sound. Knowing you need to sleep but you can't because your mind is racing with all your fears and pain thinking just maybe if you had..... I'm thankful to have had a mother who knew the same struggles I was going through. She had a good career to take care of the both of us. When it wasn't her job to do it. All I'm saying is people should be more understanding and stop being so judgmental for others choices because you don't know their circumstances when it comes to this. Because the bad outcomes are moms driving into the ocean with a mini van full of children. Mothers sending their cars into lakes with their children strapped in car seats. Dads killing their children because they hit their breaking point. Parents just snap one day and take punishments too far. People need to look at the much BIGGER picture.
@tashaschneider1419
@tashaschneider1419 9 жыл бұрын
The BIGGER picture is this: If you have an abortion, you are killing a defenseless child. It doesn't matter what the parent wants by that point, because the life is already there. If you can't raise the child yourself, give it to someone who can and wants to. That's what adoption is for. Having known quite a few teen parents in my lifetime, I know that children are a blessing to these people (and to myself!) even though unplanned. Adoptive parents, certainly, are grateful the unplanned child was given to them! Children are a blessing and a miracle who deserve protection and love, whether selfish, arrogant feminists think so or not.

@imnot2goodatcod
@imnot2goodatcod 9 жыл бұрын
Tasha Schneider I have seen you post multiple comments here and i have a few choice words to say to you. It is not a defenseless child, rather a fetus, and in most circumstances the abortion is done when the fetus cannot survive outside the womb in any circumstance. Your opinion is narrow minded and does not take into consideration many things such as; the situation of the women involved, the health complications that pregnancy may have on the mother, the fact that if the baby was born born whether the mother would keep or not. This last point leads on the fact that child that is born may be neglected and possibly have a lesser quality of life than the average and this would be a crueler fate for all involved
@tashaschneider1419
@tashaschneider1419 9 жыл бұрын
imnot2goodatcod Gee, where have I heard all this guff before?! Your "choice words" turned out to be a load of bogus rhetoric, neatly recited from the feminist playbook. A fetus is an unborn child - I can't imagine what you think a fetus is. As for these "health complications" - a good physician will do all he can for both mother and baby. If an unborn baby dies in a life-saving procedure for the mother, this is a tragedy that couldn't be helped and nobody is at fault!!! The sorry and miserable fact is that selfishness is the root cause of abortion, not "health problems" or some other rare tragedy that abortion apologists like to pull out of their rear ends, in their desperation to deny that unborn children are slaughtered at the altar of convenience. Why don't you go and look at some photos of the results of a 1st, 2nd or 3rd trimester abortion (available at the library or online), complete with bloody, mutilated hands, feet, hads, and intestines spilled everywhere? THEN come back and talk to me about "it's not a baby" and all the other sob stories/excuses that flow out of sanctimonious abortion apologists like an endless river.
@alyssawilson3060
@alyssawilson3060 9 жыл бұрын
Tasha Schneider please look up the definition of feminist and don't use it as an insult because it's just the belief that people should be equal no matter what the gender. Stop making out when someone has a different opinion to you that they are some sort of 'feminazi' because that really is backwards thinking and I'm not saying I don't agree with some of the things you're saying because yes adoption is a choice but at the end it's not your life it's somebody else's and some women can get pregnant and then get told they won't survive or their baby won't survive even if they do want it.
