Is the difference between the S5000AP and APL just the leather band ? AP model looks a bit different but guessing it’s just the picture light.....

Is that watch a diving certified watch and till what depth the watch is resistant to water. The watch looks great, but what is the average life time for this solar tough system to be running and what is the retail price. Many Thanks & Regards.

The movement needs to run on higher frequency for a more premium feel.

@@davidwestwood2457 that means instead of one tick every second, high end quartz watches should tick multiple times a second. The more it ticks the smoother the second hand moves, giving it the same feel to a mechanical watch.

@@PT111111 Those are usually watches with automatic movements. Not that it bothers me though, I'm just concerned by the lifespan of the solar battery

@@shotoy4885 it's not about the price. Bulova makes quartz watches with super smooth second hand movement which are way cheaper than Oceanus. It's about the drain on battery. And solar batteries have less capacity than replaceable batteries.
