I've had to take a little break from VR as I work toward debt freedom for a few more months. But once I get back up and running, you'll be the first channel I run to. Thank-you for your continued efforts. It's been nice having a down to Earth channel to depend on for these things.

FINALLY. thank you sir! There are issues using native methods to Livestream through obs. Namely bandwidth (in my case), and quality. I desperately needed a way to mirror through a wired connection and you've given that to me! Thank you so much man! Now my re4VR stream can continue! Along with other Oculus native titles. Subbing.

i was weary about upgrading to side 8, but given the fact it's wireless updated, im going to have to get it going. I just recently discovered how to replace the two home screens to two other places. I got a star war and rick's garage. can't choose! got as many as i could. Tangents. Thanks !

Thank you so much! The walk-through was perfect, and I'm thrilled to be watching my Quest casting wirelessly to my PC. I am now very happily subscribed. I found this video in search of various ways to cast from the Quest, optimally having Zoom using my Quest's screen as it's input camera (as opposed to using Zoom's screen-share). I've looked into LIV, but with not much luck. I wonder if you could provide an informed video of what the available options actually are, and your opinions of them. This is an awesome video and gave me everything I need to know in order to get this done (very clear step by step procedures). The problem is I cannot seem to launch the game once downloaded nor even find the library. I had a new oculus and the most updated version of the software, can you provide any help?

Great video! I have a question though, how do you stop the wireless link once you start it? It keeps crashing my Oculus Link and I have exited and reopened up the app and it still is connected wirelessly, thank you for the help!

none of this seems to work with the quest 2, and the sidequest site looks different now too. i dont see those navigation icons at the top. where you clocked on the wifi and casting icons :(

i had to reboot my pc, now when i do all this my quest wont connect to sidequest or have the pop up in the headset. I've gone threw the adb update steps and still no connection, any thoughts? Was working great until i reinstalled windows (i had to update the adb in the device maintenance window before).

i have 2 oculus quests and i dont know if it interfered with one of the issues im having but. my 2nd time around on the oculus. i go to connect it to the computer and i dont see a message on the quest saying do i trust this pc nor does a file folder show quest on my pc...and also on the part where you right click "android_winusb.inf" it doesnt give me the option to install..it just says open. i hope my questions arent too difficult..thanks

I installed my ADB drivers but my oculus cant be detected with its official c type cable. When I use the same cable with an adaptor it will say some warning. How do I make my device recognized by plugging my c type cable in the c type port. Help!!

I saw your video and just subscribed. I'm completed everything and its showing connected on Sidequest. I clicked to enable wireless and heard the sound you mentioned, but once I unplug it, it still disconnects and tells me to reconnect to headset. Once I do, I'm connected again. Do you know how to fix this or if I need to something something?

We are having difficulty adding .APK files to SideQuest, specifically the Settings_1.0 shortcut to open the Android settings from the Multiple users video. This video says I should be able to drag and drop the downloaded file in the "square" in the top left corner, but it's not doing anything and the settings "app" is not populating on my Oculus Quest. Any suggestions?

is there a way to cast video and audio to windows 10? the only other way i was thinking is to have something like an ElGato capture card with a chromecast in it. basically i want to setup 1 camera to watch me play, then have my pc capturing gameplay. so i can log into my friends zoom meeting twice (1 sharing my video of me playing, and the other sharing my casting application). then they would be able to see and hear me, but also see and hear my gameplay.

anyone know how to rename the apps that are loaded with sidequest. i know tycho mentions he renamed one of his apps. but i dont think he said how he did it. i have a couple that have weird names instead of the actual game names.

Hi I don’t have a pc with a USB C port on it can I buy a male 2.0 into female USB C adapter and it work for the data transfer I tried using a phone charger for a new Samsung that’s a USB C and it wasn’t working as I believe only made for charging not data transfer also sadly lol

I get to the android_winusb file and right click but there are no options for installing the drivers. I have Windows 10. I am stuck and I tried both methods linked above and got the same result.

I see you're using version 0.8.3 of sidequest and it has the casting option at the top. I'm using 0.8.5 and it doesn't have it though? Did the updated version take it out or?
