During Whiskey Peak, Zoro said that once someone from Baroque Works tried to recruit him. As far as I remember, Oda in SBS said Zoro killed that agent. It wasn't drawn or animated and I think the OPLA directors showed that they know the manga well.

I watched the whole season today and let me tell you! This is so good! The curse of anime live action certainly has been broken and i'm happy they did this right! Of course it has flaws and there were some changes but necessary ones, my favorite part of this show is syrup village and the brartie. It’s so fun and i'm really really happy this is a good adaptation. It’s certainly not perfect but it’s not bad at all and it’s so fun like really fun and faithful to the manga despite the changes.

They managed to make Luffy actually funny yes there’s some cringe moments but overall fun 😂

Sooo, I was searching about Mr 7( at least this Mr 7 from the series) He was mentioned in One piece Ep 116, when Zoro and Mr 1/Miss DoubleFinger first met. Mr 1 mentions that Zoro was the one who killed more than 100 soldiers in Whiskey Peak while Miss Doublefinger adds that he was the one who also killed the first Mr 7 when they sent him to recruit Zoro. Now about the original Mr 7 appearance, one reader asked about it to Oda, and Oda made a rough sketch of the first Mr 7 appearance in SBS 36

Zoros fighting sequence is too good tbh and makenyu is probably the perfect actor for it. Only thing pre skip zoro would laugh more.

Please don't just congratulate Oda for the show, this obviously had a lot of work put into this from everyone. We all know if this was shit we wouldn't blame Oda. Let's stay consistent. This show obviously has *some* flaws, but its far and above the best live-action anime adaptation I've ever seen and a genuinely good show even removed from the One Piece manga and anime. It had so many eyes on it and I think it delivered on all fronts. (besides the wigs and makeup, they still look bad occasionally, but, hey, the actors make it work incredibly well)

It different, there is some changed but the core is there. Like when zoro told luffy he is pirate hunter, luffy dont buy it and ask what he really want. And after he told him his true goal, he release him and no more ask him to join his crew.

watched it, and i would say it is a great start to start one piece for a new comer, but it lacks many things the OG had… so for me the crew was perfect but the missing of the pin wheel on the pin wheel guy and no six sword octopus was kinda disappointing. And also sanji not seeing zoro’s dual was kinda not good. and not a fan of zoro’s backstory… and as a matter of fact, all back stories was a little off… well then again, if anything provoke interests in anyone to watch the OG then i would say this is the one. this is a 10/10 trailer or a starter pack for One Piece new comers…

As for the overall rating, clearly below 8, I will give it 7.5 if I'm not in a good mood, and probably 7.9 if I'm in a good mood, and one of the causes of that rating is the lack of fighting skills and short-time fighting scenes like in the anime, and a very average CGI for fighting scenes. As for the plot and story, easily above 9, I will give it 9.15 for most, but overall, One Piece built its hype because of a good fighting scene, after all.

I really enjoyed it the only complaints I have is the editing and some of the acting could use some polishing and a certain character is totally missing from the show, but it’s understandable because he would be such a difficult character to create with either practicals or cgi
