Your cabin is looking great. I love how much you are like your father but so different at the same time. I know this took time then shown especially with you filming the construction of the cabin. Your editing has been improving with your own perspective but still with the love of nature instilled by your parents. I hope you get great enjoyment from these projects snd from the end result you built yourself with just a bit of help from your father. 👍😎

If i get lucky enough catch a big trout i will put lemon pepper seasoning , garlic powder plus a big chunk of butter in side. Then wrap with tin foil & put on the grill or open fire. The butter steams it from the inside. Its delicious! Nothing better than fresh trout!!!

Beautiful job. For me, I like a sink set closer to the edge as it is more back friendly. A "farmer's sink" is on my list of to do's when we remodel. That way I will not have to bend over to reach the back of the sink and counter.

Emily, I am guessing by the time this video was posted all your counter tops and sink were completed. If not, I suggest you get you sink drain and plumber's putty and install the drain now which will give the putty time enough to seal the drain so when you install the sink to the counter it will be ready for instant use when you install your plumbing.

Depending on expense and your water table, wells are best, nothing else comes close. Watching people deal with catchments and cisterns I have come to believe that they are barely viable. In Montana we had wells on both of our properties, they were fairly shallow the table was only 30 feet and were drilled by other local farmers and ranchers who we paid with some cows and hunting permission for a couple of years. That was quite some time ago. The electric pump was installed in 1970 and was still working when my father sold the property in 2010.

Your kitchen is looking good. You chose well on all the fixtures. And, as mentioned before, I've installed those cabinets for a variety of uses -- in large walkin-closets, in vacation cottages, in children's playrooms, in custom homes' second kitchens, in media/game rooms, and in our lake cabin. They are sturdy and easy to clean.

Emily, hi darling. I started watching your dads utube 3/4 years ago then discovered yours. I'm from hot, dry arid Australia 🇦🇺 🙃 where your environmental is the opposite. I always wanted to go visit Canada especially the woods. With yours and dads chanell, now days of utube, I can and do. Yes your way of doing things and aesthetics is different from older people, this is natural. I will continue to sponsor your chanell as I find your independence, scenery and abilities in building, interesting. I'm almost bed bound so what you do takes me on a journey.... Thank you for being, you.....🙃🧙🧚🧝♀️😊
