On the route of the Kettle Valley Railway, we are stopped by horrible road conditions, so we try a new road, which is "better." We end up off road on a trail up high in the mountians, navigating switchbacks on our way to chute lake camp with jagged rocks and soft shoulders all along the road.
Then, we explore the history of transportation and agriculture in the Okanagan Valley by looking at two canals that were used for transportation and irrigation. Wine and fruit are staples of the economy.
