The clock is ticking, but we're far from being done prepping our off road vehicles for King of the Hammers! We need our 4x4 builds ready for everything we may throw at them on the trails. And that includes our hemi Jeep Wrangler and our new Polaris RZR Pro R!
Hope you all enjoy the video!

Congrats on the KOH finish this year, that was an awesome finish! Invest in a good set of transfer punches to locate the holes for your harness bar and then start your drilling with a pilot (much smaller) drill bit for your initial holes and then step up to the actual hole size. Work smarter, not harder! Lol Just my opinion.... and I'm old... so I have to! 😜 Keep busting out the awesome content, you guys rock!

Great videos. You guys appear to have enough toys for tons of content. Hope you are able to enjoy and have quality time both as a team and as a couple. Looking forward to KOH posts. BTW I did watch the live stream on the internet. Same comment for KOH organizers as I did for NASCAR, too much airtime on the leaders and not enough airtime to the other participants. Looking forward to watching #999 in KOH 2023.

Right at the start when you were trying to brake that bead I was thinking "now spray some WD-40 in there to lubricate it and try again" I did a stint as a tyre fitter and this was one of the tricks we used daily to get stubborn tyres off, then clean the wheel with brake cleaner before fitting a new tyre.

I am guessing you will be stepping a class down from the 4400 class to the *4800 Legends class. i mean if the UTV is becoming a chase vehicle i could be wrong but looks like your bomber chassis would be very competitive in that class as well. again thinking out loud. since KOH is done this year just gonna have to wait till the next one.

Problem being, with four point harnesses your body can't tilt sideways. So if there is a rollover, your spine becomes the roof support. You've got that solved by adding in a roll bar, as long as it is at full roof height, but then a roll bar also means helmets ALL the time so your head can't slam back into the roll bar. So once you go to four point harnesses...you are into needing way more before they match a plain three point harness for regular driving safety.
@billpotter35
@billpotter35 2 жыл бұрын
Don't forget a HANS device....shoulder harnesses place the weight of your head on just a few vertebrae above your collar bone. Where a three point holds you by your rib cage that is attached to many vertebrae spreading the forces better across the length of your spine. In a front end collision you don't want your head to come unattached from your neck. (RIP #3)

I heard they purposely did not show Kevin and Brittney racing because of the spamming that occurred last year. Which was only due to the many fans they had watching, not that anyone was actually spamming. It is not fair when Lite Brite attracted the most fans and then they purposely do not show them racing. They even said at the end during their interview at the finish, that they we're only featured on PRIME. I feel the video editors of KoH owe the Lite Brite fans an apology. If you were watching the race to cheer on Lite Brite it did suck!

I'm actually a bit mad at this years KOH. I didn't know about it before I watched this channel. I watched it to see them. They left them out. Next year I won't watch at all. I'll just watch what's put out here. They may not race next time anyway. If they don't want people supporting their drivers why show any of it? Why boycott us. again no one was disrespectful ever just a lot of support. I would think KOH would love the free advertising as Kev and Brit doesn't get anything from them. Next year boycotting them as they did us this year.

The tire wait right now is at minimum 2-3 months out.. still waiting in a 37 replacement from December and ill be lucky to see it next month. I really wish I had the guts, determination, and skill that y'all have and be able to do what y'all are doing. From what I can see from the videos the life y'all are living is my dream. I keep going to the E3Offroad site and really Want to get the annual membership but feel that life will keep me from being able to actually utilize all that it offers. My goal would be to come and do a trail take over with yall, but work and vacation time isn't there for me to attend one and of course working swing shift I don't get many weekends off which I'd assume is when yall would plan those take overs (idk because I can't see the schedule 😭). Just an idea for getting the tiers to seat on the rim. I don't know if it will work on these tiers, they might be too ridged. put a good ratchet strap around the center of the tier and tighten it up and that should push out the bead. Works on regular street tiers. And btw, I bet that the original skid plates are made for sand, not rocks. Which does mean that they are not up to rocks, and definitely not up to you all! ;-}}
