Great Respect to Dr Swamy for clarity of thoughts and his advice to Indian Babus to not opt for western approval but instead protect India’s interests by all means. His praise of Rajapaksha brothers for eliminating LTTE is totally fair and square. That brave act brought peace, respite and eased millions of lives in TN and SL. LTTE cowardly placed innocent captive children and women in-front while fighting SL Army. LTTE is also a killer of Indian PM and no self respecting Indian can forgive LTTE because of that crime. What Chinese did in Sri Lanka has now become an example of how CCP China behaves with its partner, for other countries which are exploring avenues for engaging with CCP China. It exposed Chinese nefarious design. I am speculating that Indian might have intensional not rescheduled Sri Lankan loans to expose Chinese. In a way that would also expose Indias behavior against its neighbors but in hindsight I would say that exposing CCP China is more important for the world,specially south east Asia.

Swamy could've been brilliant but he lacks diplomacy. See when she asks about Civilians being killed, he laughs. This sets a wrong precedent. The point he makes is right, in warfare there'll be collateral damage but the issue is the way he makes the point. The attitude. Each life lost is precious. This laugh normalizes the actions where it should've been the exception. In Mahabharata, after so much Kauravas have done, the Lord himself wants to make peace and asks just for 5 villages. Young viewers watching this get the wrong idea. Swamy lacks the understanding and speaks just to make his point, neglecting the bigger picture. If he could see the bigger picture, this man would've done greater work..

Swami is talking lots of sense and responsibly in Sri Lanka. He should give up his ego and focus on good work is doing without any expectation ('Nishkam Karma') that Modi or BJP will praise him or make him Finance Minister! He is now beyond all these mundane things; he should work for Kashi and Mathura; National Herald Case and for formalizing Hindu religion so that it can take on conversion to other religions. Swami is easily taken by praise and goes overboard. It must be noted that India has its red lines for Sri Lanka and it should not cross them and jeopardize Indian security interests.

I like everything abt su.swamy but why try to scrutinize and validate only who is a brahmin and not other castes. Lets do it for other castes too. Today people who are born in a particular community also inherit all the customs, culture and habits that pertain to that community . So according to swamy if someone even though born as a brahmin becomes a soldier by profession then he is a kshatriya and he can stop being a vegetarian and discontinue his practices. Mr Swamy is grossly mistaken about the dresden bombing. It was highly criticised in both the US and the UK by the media outlets as well as the general populace, same with Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was incredibly controversial and you would find that many Americans even today are viscerally opposed to the decision made by President Truman to drop atomic bombs on civilian areas.
