About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

True. They should've done more episodes with Al's family in mind, like this flashback with his dad. Instead a chunk of last season was about Peg's family (I found them boring IMO)

I remember when I first saw the flashback, it seemed like "Married with Children" turned into "That 70s show." Also, in the flashback, Al doesn't look like he scored 4 touchdowns in 1 game.

It's the last season, the series was already kind of slapstick... so weird, this season ended in 1997 and "That 70s Show" premiered in 98... so close to each other. Maybe that's why the production looks similar.

Clips like these might lead some to think that Al’s old man didn’t love him, but that’s not true at all. Who else took number 33 to the Ferguson factory in Maine to enjoy the cold touch of porcelain on his skin and the sound of “Bawoosh?!!!”

After a week or two without YT Prem: If i had to do w/o Premium much longer, and/or if they keep trajectory on price increases, i would delete the app. Ads volume & intrusiveness is so bad i will not share ANY more vids to friends, because they are friends. For what it is or isn't worth.

In the season 4 episode Oh What a Feeling the Dodge is initially blue and when he inadvertently buys it back, it's been repainted brown. Then in the car wash episode it's found to have been Red. So a little color continuity issues but nbd. Love MWC.
