6 years on tinder, got like 2 or 3 dates.. Online isn't my thing. I tried approaching girls in person (just like in the vid) but the "No" response seems almost automatic. So I asked some female friends and they told me to not straight up ask for their contact (I don't even ask for a number, just Instagram) but instead to chat with them for a bit... But I feel coming to a girl and asking about stuff is even harder cause deep down she knows I want her contact, you know? I feel like I'm doing some silly pretending game and they're gonna be rough... Even girls that I approached without any intention (to ask for information) were rough on me. Well, as the results of cold approaching showed little results, I might as well try chatting about something first, who knows, it might work, with a lot of practice. Thanks for the vid, man! It was very touching.

Seeing this video makes me realize how lucky I was when I met my wife 45 years ago at a college Halloween party where we had some common friends but had not known each other. She had just broken up with her high school boyfriend and was by herself at the party same as me. We sat together and talked that night about what seemed to be each of our life experiences up to that point. I thought she was very attractive but was very relaxed talking to her, since I was not even thinking of asking her out on a date, as I was more just stressed out by grades and was just in to Sports. It was a great surprise for me when her girlfriend I knew who was at the party told me a couple days later the girl I met at the party was wondering when I was going to call her to ask her out. I called her right away that night.

@@CinnaMae420 Why not? Only because society has become very "Stranger dangerish". If someone catches your eye, it shouldn't be a rule that they HAVE to be in your social circle via work or through friends, or by some chance you are stuck in a social venue. Talking to and wanting to see if someone is interesting is less than weird people who call it weird. A lot of people are against interaction they they cannot directly control, which leads to people (women) thinking you are "creepy" for following your curiosity and opening your mouth, meanwhile women, even good looking ones, wonder why men are so passive. Doing things men are supposed to do, be assertive, can be construed as something monstrous. If she doesn't appreciate your approach for whatever reason, saying "Hello, my name is xxx" is about the same as saying "Hey, nice breasts." You get pretty much the same disdain for reasons the man will never know. And no, it isn't his business why she said no, but if he stops approaching women, hes kinda lead to that conclusion based on women not wanting him to approach thus far.

I've never been good w online dating/flirting interactions even if I get a decent amount of matches I'm dry asf online, now irl its ways easier. Here are some tips for the bros, talk to a woman like a normal human being, like be genuine, try to be a gentleman, humor can make you go from an average looking everyday dude to a guy she's interested in. Failure can teach you a lot, i recommend you try to establish a basic connection try flirting, and just invite someone to have some coffee or whatever. If you're scared to be creepy or like I don't enjoy approaching random people just walking or whatever try to find a suitable social setting, it can be your class, dorm, dance class, whatever.Oh an a tip for the confidence game it may be a bit self-absorbed but honestly just taking care of how you look and your body(now it is possible for you to be out of shape and be confident it is harder tho, plus you feel happier after working out).I really hope I hope helped some dudes out and as a last thing always try to work on yourself and be a better man. Okay, parents. We NEED to teach our children about how to actually interact with real people, face to face and personal. It's ALL on phones and computers today and they have no idea how to actually relate to other people in real life. We're failing our children and their happiness miserably by allowing them to stay hidden from real life and live only virtually through electronic technologies. It's not cool and it's not fair to them. They are missing out on the growing pains of dating, learning about others so they can respect their boundaries of social acceptances and empathy that the other person is a real person too who's just as scared, nervous, hopeful, dreamer, confused, ecstatic, curious, lonely, imaginative, lost and yet found as you, yourself are.

The problem really isn't technology, it's just that so many people are turning nothing into really big problems.

Oddly I have had a few single woman approach me in public. It is a bit odd and interesting. Asking for someone's number is a good way to potentially stir a connection but being able to have a little more information about that person does make things much easier for you to get to know them better. Seeing someone walking down the street it is hard to get enough information to know if you have shared interests. That said I used to approach women this way in college. Maybe because it was on a campus in many cases it did work.

I was trying to be "modern confident woman" and once I tried to be initiative with the guy I liked and another time I thought to initiate talk with handsome guy sitting right in front of me in train. Both times it was a HELL!!! Everything in my stomach just twisted with overwhelming anxiety every time I though "now". So, in first case I finally invited the guy and we had some romantic evening and in second case I tortured myself till I gave up for an hour or 2. And after I gave up he asked to sit next to me :))) haha "brave modern woman". For those girls who react negative and furiously to guys awkwardly trying to get to know you, I say: just try to be on other side once! This worked big time for me once. I noticed this beautiful girl during a play; she was one of the actresses. After the show I went home and I couldn't get her out of my head, so I returned the next day and watched the play (or her tbh) again. When it was over I saw her standing outside of the theater and I walked up to her. With a brief moment of shameless confidence I asked three things: "Are you busy after your last show tomorrow?" She said: "No" "Would you like to go do something then?" She said: "Yes I'd like that" Then I asked for her number and I got it. We dated for a while. After getting her number I walked away feeling such an amount of adrenaline and boost of self-esteem. Later she told me that coming up to her in public like that is really attractive. (Because we all know how scary that is) TL;DR showing courage sets you ahead 1-0

It's funny but you have heard about internet of things? With Bluetooth it is. In a party for example would be a huge mess but in a park... you know, could be the inverse way out to tinder netflix and chill. Sit down, talk and chill.
@Raydan1164 жыл бұрын
This is not applying the old fashioned way to get a date, this is just applying the online way of dating to the physical world. Generally you get to know someone a bit before you ask them out.
@ReptarTheUgly4 жыл бұрын
That isn’t true one bit haha.
@koreaface4 жыл бұрын
Even then online dating is so much easier. If you are on a dating app people know why you are on there... it’s to date, so 99.99% they are looking to date as well. So that takes away most of the effort needed in offline dating.

@@steelbarber uh, no it isn't. The online way of dating is to join a site that is filled with people who are looking to date, where in the video did this guy go to a place that was only filled with other single people looking for a date?

I love this short film it really inspired the inner old soul romantic in me. I wish I could do this instead of online dating but it's not even possible now. But somehow this beautiful little story of the past gives me hope for the future. Thanks for uploading this great Vid. And kudos to Samuel for having the balls to pull it off so spectacularly that he made an irl rom com

Utterly charming. This guy is a lovable doof. The women treated him so well even when they rejected him, because he is so respectful and sweet. Loved when the woman gave him advice on how to approach women. Talk about putting your everything on the line. Great vid.

A "Lovable Doof" is a good way to put it, unfortunately that is exactly what will be used against him in the future.

Dawnelisha Brown , I understand your point, but I am 51 years old, and that is how we use to meet each other. So, in that regard he is making good point. Human face to face interaction = good thing, just like in business and diplomancy.
