The New Holland Workmaster is probably the most tractor you can get for the money among the "name brands" in the tractor market today. #NewHolland #JohnDeere #Kubota

I have a new Holland tc35 absolutely love it I looked at a few kubotas but the treadle pedal was the biggest down fall I have a bad right ankle and couldn’t use that pedal at all I have a couple neighbors that have a jd the other a kubota and My tractor will out lift them all day long plus what is really nice is that NH lifts higher. Great choice and enjoy your new tractor

Nice review Cuz. I bought the RK55 and I absolutely love it. However, i just keep reading horror stories about support. That said, i really think the support varies by location. Literally people spend all day on Kubotas no issues....... with brakes or the dreaded pedal. It all comes down to preference, good pick going to help you greatly. My choice was reliability and family history of decades of Kubota ownership. Also dealer support literally 4 dealers within 10 miles vs New Holland.

Great video and a reminder that there is a tractor (and brand) out there for all of us. I wanted a Kubota; but bought a Kioti instead for many THOUSANDS less. Also way better on the spec sheet. I didn't settle for my Kioti, it won out on price/features/power/etc. I like ALL tractors; Kubota's included. But I like my budget too. It all comes down to getting a great tool for a great price. JD and Kubota are like Mercedes and BMW. I question if they are "better" but the folks selling them sure do think they are. i didn't look at the New Holland's because of lack of dealers around me but sure looks like a well build machine. You just need some more HP and a cab! (Don't you love how others spend your money!). 😂👍🏼. Enjoying the channel!

I had the JD 2305 and then the 1025r. The 1025r was loaded out with options and a backhoe. 2 years ago, I traded it in for a 3025e. I found out after years of owning tractors, I don't need lots of bells and whistles. I put ballast in the tires on the 3025e. It does a great job and I paid 18000 out the door. It also helps that there are 2 JD dealers within 30 minutes!

Also no hydraulic system are as smooth as the John Deere period. All of these things on paper on what tractors will do are very misleading. If you talk to most people or big time farmers that have owned most all models they all tell me the same thing and that is they say when you go to hooking up equipment and in the field USE that hands down the John Deere will outperform any other tractor on the market when you are comparing apples to apples. Just ask around.

Hi old Mate, I'm glad you did the leg work for me. I wanted to know more about the other brands to see the features they had. I have made my choice of new tractors already but was having aa slight doubt but not anymore. I made the right choice. I ordered the TYM 265 with loader/backhoe combo. The thing that was bothering me was the power steering ram up in front of the front Diff & being a low tractor would make it a target for what ever flicks up into it but looking at your review virtually all are like that accept the Kubota (it has guards around the ram) but I dumped Kubota (JD also has only 1 brake) for a different reason and that is No turning brakes & all the other features you mentioned missing. The TYM has it all standard. I think you made a good choice there too, the New Holland are good tractors, we have one of those as well which I'm restoring at the moment to like brand new, no pollution B/S being 35 horse, but this one is a 1.7 litre Shuburu motor in it and quiet it is too. Happy Tractoring mate from Australia.

I have nothing against John Deere or Kubota but I prefer the New Holland . I also agree that with enough time the sheet metal will scratch, dent and rust, in comparison to the plastic hood and fenders that will dry out ,crack and break to the point of falling off the tractor. That’s the reason I now have a New Holland and not a Deere. If I didn’t see the tractor as a long term investment but rather something I traded in every few years like a car or truck plastic would be fine. However, in fifty years from now it might be harder for my son to find new plastic fenders than it would be to repainting the metal fenders.

The one thing about the way New Holland states their lifting on the FEL is at the pins, 1600lbs. I believe the same for the rear 3 point as well. Where JD and Kubota measures some thing like 24" out, which is a more realistic way of determining how much you can lift that is probably why it appears the New Holland lifts more. With that said though, it wouldn't surprise me if the New Holland can lift more still. Very nice tractor you have there.

My New Holland owners manual lists the capacity at the pins and also out at the end of the bucket. I found that the capacity at the set distance from the pins on the NH was equivalent to the capacity at the pins on the JD or Kubota.

I looked at new Holland myself, but there’s no dealer within a reasonable distance so I went with my 3025e and I am happy with it. I’m happy for you and your new tractor 👍🏻

I as a retired farmer and heavy diesel mechanic. ( CAT&CUMMINGS ) I personally think you used good judgment. I did a lot of tractor comparison. You get what you pay for. I bought a Kubota ,you can't kill that engine. Look up used prices they hold up better than most. It's all built by Kubota. I also looked at the New Holland , think made in India, and parts are likely Source from a multiple countries and manufacturers. New Holland is more refined and more finished for sure. You do get used to the treadle pedal . Not as bad as you make sound, although I agree with the breaks and a ridiculous location. I would have preferred the traditional pedal setup but it's something you get used to.

Interesting video, I own a Kubota 3301 and bought it new approximately three years ago. I have had no problems with the treble-peddle or the break on the same side while clearing our 5.5 acres. My foot never became tired either as you can actually rest it on the side of the pedal. Not to say New Holland tractors are not good tractors. I noticed in your video after this one was made that you are now dissatisfied with your New Holland and the lack of power. That's unfortunate.

We own several John Deere, 2 4440s, 2 2940s, a 2040, a 6400 with loader. I hate, I mean hate to work on them! We also have 2 Hestons, a kubota, a Ford 7600, international 464, and a just acquired new holland 4020. Easy maintenance and almost no probs on all but the deere’s. The old hestons are bulletproof, the ford and kubota second. So far the newer New Holland is doing well

The NH sub compact is O.K. (actually its an LS tractor) when they are new . The problem with them (and LS) is long term reliability. The Workmaster 25 will not hold up as well as your old NH tractor. I'm not advocating any specific brand over another, but I've done a lot of research on tractors and the small sized NH & LS have a generally bad rep for long term reliability. You are really going to haver to stay on top of maintenance for your new baby. It is not going to take the abuse of your old NH.

It's large and love it. The Bare-Co Canopies are great, as well. Get one wide enough so it will go out close to the edge of the fenders or little beyond. Get the mounting kit that will allow you mount the brackets on the outsides of ROPS that way the canopy will sit low and keep sun off of you. They are great and very well made. Gotta keep in mind that the $difference between the workmaster 25 and the JD 3033r is mostly in the horsepower jump and premium features.You are not comparing apples to apples. The JD 3r series don't start till 33 hp also available in 39,46 hp. The 3r series is in a different class. Its a premium tractor like the Boomer.There is $4- 5,ooo difference between the 3039R compared to 3046r. I agree that I wouldn't want a JD e series based purely on the permanent loader.

Thanks a lot for uploading. This loader to European eyes looks like the loaders built in the seventies. Nowadays hydraulic lines run internally. It is brand new and the paint where the ropes folds down is already rubbed off. Recently a lot of small tractors have been imported from India to where I live. They look more modern than this machine. Kubota sells different machines in Europe than in the USA. Better equipped and more expensive. They also don’t sell their loaders in Europe. How come the US excels in building aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines and all the rest is second rate? Most of US machinery would be unsellable in Europe.

I would like to point out though, that it outperforms both the 3025E and the New Holland in every category I could find. Higher 3 pt and loader lift capacities, more horsepower, higher hydraulic flow. the argument of the HST vs the gear drive tells people you need a HST for loader work.absolutely not true. I've never driven a tractor prior to buying one and the gear drive is operable without a second thought within a few hours of seat time. what steered you away from the "D"?

OFFRD $19,200 out the door with the front loader attachment? That's seems like a great deal. When I build them (holland or Deere) on their website it always throws the loader in as another $4,000 plus on top of base?

Hey man I am looking at buying the 25s, what do you think about the warranty, did you buy it? I was thinking about purchasing the four-year warranty with this
@4-LOW
@4-LOW 3 жыл бұрын
Nope I think the 2 year bumper to bumper and then 4 more years of powertrain is good enough for me. That comes standard with new ones. If you're buying used, then yes an extended warranty might be a good idea.

What is the advantage of a metal hood vs a polymer hood ? The dents, paint scratches through the primer for the rust to start ?
@4-LOW
@4-LOW 3 жыл бұрын
Have you ever seen a plastic/fiberglass/polymer hood that wasn't cracked? I haven't. In fact, the New Holland we traded on this one had a cracked hood. That won't happen on this one.

Seems like John Deere is loosing touch with their customer base. More and more people are choosing not to use them any more. And the people that are using are suing to be able to actually use them. They need to do some soul searching as a company.

Nice review and I do agree you get a lot of tractor for the money with the WM25. I used to sell NH tractors and the specs are definitely compelling. Plus it has a non emission Mitsubishi engine which is good for efficiency and reliability. Thanks for sharing.

Would you consider the boomer 25 a reliable machine ?
@piedmontagsales5721
@piedmontagsales5721 2 жыл бұрын
@@RicardiacAttack405 Haven't had much experience with that particular model. Has a Mitsubishi engine which is a plus. New Holland eliminated that model a few years go. I think just due to lack of sales for that particular size frame. The WM25 would be the nearest replacement (slightly larger frame).
