Rabbits can definitely have a carrot but just not every day, its a treat. Saying they cant have carrots is like saying you cant eat cake because its bad for you, its fine in moderation but if you only eat cake every day all the time you would die.

I think they should add a "Turducken" to Minecraft. They could add a turkey and a duck. Then, you can breed a duck with a turkey to get a "Turduck", a duck with a chicken to get a "Dukcen", then you can breed a "Turduck" with a "Ducken" to get a "Turducken". Killing a turducken would drop a raw turducken which could be cooked, and when eaten, would restore 12 hunger and give 16 Saturation (to be the best food in the game).

@@minestar2247 Feeding a Parrot a Cookie in Minecraft will kill it, much like in real life since Chocolate is poisonous to Parrots and the Cookie appears to be a Chocolate Chip one in-game. The difference here is simple *since it's actually a feature in the game that follows real life* and not "Oh, it's poisonous, so we have to remove the poisonous thing for realism".

By the way one of the consequences of feeding ducks bread irl is angel wing, a condition where the wings don't form properly, often due to improper nutrition. If Mojang does add ducks I don't think they'd do something as complicated as that though if they want realism, so maybe feeding ducks too nuch bread would make them nauseated and slightly poisoned instead, kinda like a less extreme version of the parrot-cookie interaction. Actually the problem with feeding ducks bread is that the bread will soak up and expand when in liquid, and it can do that in a ducks mouth, throat and stomach, which can choke the bird

From what I’ve heard, the reason that bread is not good for ducks is not because it’s poisonous and not necessarily because it lacks nutritional value, but because the sucrose from bread breaks apart into many glucose strands in the stomach, it’s essentially feeding ducks a little amount of food that is very filling for them. This can be dangerous for ducks because they won’t necessarily get the nutrients they need in a day because their stomachs are full from the bread.

Bread is not poisonous for ducks, but since they don't have teeth to munch on it they just swallow it. If they swallow chunks of bread and drink water the bread will expand a bit in their stomachs and that is not healthy for them.

Also chicken and ducks eat litterally anything, Chikens eat seeds, grass, worms, bread, meat, dog food if they get too close to the dog bowl, rocks, anything, and i know i have a farm since years ago with more than 30 chickens.

It has happened that ducklings at parks whos parents were fed a lot of bread by people don't have the ability to fly. Since so many people feed them bread it becomes their main food source and they don't bother looking for food as much, since bread doesn't have the nutrients needed the babies are undeveloped and can have undeveloped wings.

The problem with feeding bread to ducks and etc (from what I've heard) is supposedly the protein enrichment that modern store bought breads have, so maybe the from-scratch whole wheat bread made in minecraft wouldn't be as bad? 1:41 it’s not the fattening that’s wrong with feeding them bread. Feeding them bread is bad because it weakens their bones (from the lack of nutrients) and give them what is known as Angel Wing. Once they get Angel Wing they lose the ability to fly for their whole life; it’s usually a death sentence in the wild

that myth that ducks get poisoned by bread comes from two things; 1. bread bloats in their stomach, making them eat too little of the nutritions they do need 2. bread that was thrown into water and remained there for too long would turn bad, thus contaminating the water and making ducks sick. there are quite a few parks in cities that even had signs put up by the city to encourage feeding ducks again, they need it there because in city parks is not enough food for them. as almost always its a matter of "how much"

Bread is also a problem for birds because it absorbs water, so when the bird drinks, the bread they have eaten swells rather than digesting.

so the deal with birds and bread, especially water foul, is that bread swells when wet and has no real nutritional value to them. since we throw bread in the water, they then eat the swollen wet bread and fill their stomachs quickly. this leads them to not forage for more nutritional food, and when they get this diet consistently it leads to long term health issues including malnourishment. Its not "poisonous" but it IS very bad for them to have a consistent diet of it. if youd like to feed wild birds then fruit, seeds, berries, or some veggies are usually a better bet. if you know the specific bird youre feeding you can likely find a list of their no no foods online

Feeding bread to ducks is really bad, not only does it make them fat, but also gets stuck in the digestive system, making it really difficult to for them to poop, which THAT being untreated in ducks could lead to death

They also should remove spider eyes and rotten flesh from the game, as eating those will give you food poisoning or worse, and Mojang could *never* encourage reckless behavior
