Tom is one of the greatest singers ever, this song is one of the greatest ever. He's probably 84, still performing and may still be a judge on the Voice UK. Many very good songs. It's said he retained 90% of his singing voice. This was a phenomenal performance

Now you should listen to him sing this at 80 years old with the son of the man who wrote it. Guy's name is Pete Donnigan the son of Lonnie Donnigan on The UK The Voice. He still has it. ☺☺

Sir Tom Jones will be 84 in June and he can still sing this song. Check out the video of him on The Voice singing with Peter Lonegan, the son of the man who wrote this song for Tom...Lonnie Donegan.

An extra chilly most reaction 🧊! You might remember Tom Jones from the television sitcom: The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air (S3/E18 "The Alma Matter"), where he appeared as Carlton Banks' guardian angel. I'll Never Fall In Love Again was released as the lead single from Tom Jones' 1967 covers album: 13 Smash Hits. It was written by Jimmy Currie and Lonnie Donegan. It was produced by Peter Sullivan. The song reached #28 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #49 on the Hot 100 in 1967. It was re-released in 1969 and reached #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #6 on the Hot 100. This live performance is from The Dusty Springfield Show on September 5, 1967. The song was originally released by Lonnie Donegan in 1962. The name Lonnie Donegan will be familiar to many of you. "The King Of The Skiffle" was Britain's most successful and influential recording artist before The Beatles chalking up 24 successive Top 30 hits in the late '50s and early '60s. Tom Jones recalled recording song to The Mail On Sunday February 6, 2011: "This wonderful song was co-written by Lonnie Donegan. I did some shows with Lonnie and we became friends. He was one of the first British guys I heard singing rock in the '50s. One night he said: 'Look, I have this song, you'd sing the pants off it. I've recorded it, but I can't really sing it. It's a sort of a rewrite of a song from the Thirties when the Depression was going on, called: 'I'm Never Going To Cease My Wandering'. I knew that song, because a lot of guys used to sing it in pubs in Wales. I went to his house in Virginia Water, and he got this record out to listen to. It was the B-side of one of his hits. With the big chorus on it, it sounded fantastic. He was singing it Lonnie Donegan style, completely different from the way I did, like somebody busking". The verses are melodically based on the traditional song: "I'm Never Going To Cease My Wandering", even recycling the "It looks like" phrase. The Italian-styled chorus, however, sounds very different and new. The song is not to be confused with the Burt Bacharach and Hal David song of the same title, which was a hit for both Dionne Warwick and Bobbie Gentry in the late '60s. The song has been covered by some artists including 📻: Elvis Presley, Lena Martell, Charlie Hodges, Richard Marx, Timi Yuro, Sam Sorono, Johnny Adams and more. Lyrics 📝: I've been in love so many times Thought I knew the score But now you've treated me so wrong I can't take anymore And it looks like I'm never gonna fall in love again Fall in love, I'm never gonna fall in lo-o-ve I mean it Fall in love a-a-a-a-a-a-a-gain All those things I heard about you I thought they were only lies But when I caught you in his arms I just broke down and cried And it looks like I'm never gonna fall in love again Fall in love, no, I'm never gonna fall in lo-o-ve I mean it, I mean it Fall in love a-a-a-a-a-a-a-gain I gave my heart so easily I cast aside my pride But when you fell for someone else, baby I broke up all inside And it looks like I'm never gonna fall in love again That's why I'm singing Fall in love, no, I'm never gonna fall in lo-o-ve Please don't make me Fall in love again Tom Jones Info 📰: Tom Jones was born on June 7, 1940 in Treforest, Wales. He is a singer, songwriter and actor. His singing career began with a string of top 10 hits in the 1960s and he has since toured regularly, with appearances in Las Vegas from 1967 to 2011. His voice has been described by AllMusic as a "full-throated, robust baritone". His early musical influences include: Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Solomon Burke, Jackie Wilson, Brook Benton and Jerry Lee Lewis. He began singing at an early age; he would regularly sing at family gatherings, weddings, and in his school choir. He did not like school or sports, but gained confidence through his singing talent. At the age of 12, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Many years later, he said, "I spent two years in bed recovering. It was the worst time of my life". During this time, he could do little else but listen to music and draw. Tom Jones performing range has included Pop, R&B, Show Tunes, Country, Dance, Soul, and Gospel. In 2008, the New York Times called him a "musical shapeshifter who could slide from Soulful rasp to Pop croon, with a voice as husky as it was pretty". He has sold over 100 million records, with 36 Top 40 hits in the UK and 19 in the US, including: "It's Not Unusual", "What's New Pussycat?", the theme song for the James Bond film: Thunderball (1965), "Green, Green Grass Of Home", "Delilah", "She's A Lady", "Sex Bomb", and a cover of Prince's song: "Kiss". Tom Jones has also occasionally dabbled in acting, first making his acting debut in the lead role of the television film: Pleasure Cove (1979). In 1970, he received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Television Series Musical or Comedy nomination for hosting the television series: This Is Tom Jones. In 2012, he played his first dramatic acting role in an episode of Playhouse Presents. In 1967, Tom Jones performed in Las Vegas for the first time, at The Flamingo. His performances and style of dress became part of his stage act, and increasingly featured his open, half-unbuttoned shirts and tight trousers. He soon chose to record less and focus on club performances. Tom Jones played in Las Vegas at least one week each year until 2011. He received a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1966, an MTV Video Music Award in 1989, and two Brit Awards: Best British Male in 2000 and Outstanding Contribution to Music in 2003. He received an OBE in 1998 and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006 for services to music. He experienced a resurgence in popularity in the 2010s due to his role as a coach on the talent show The Voice UK (2012-2015, 2017-present). Tom Jones still performs live on stage in 2024.
