Can we please not demonize mental health conditions? That and narcissism. People stop getting mental health care if they hear those words because of how negatively society tosses around those words. Considering being around narcissists and psychopaths has a seriously detrimental affect on yout own mental, emotional and physical health (I am disabled due to the abuse) I can openly and happily say NO! . It's extremely unfair and biased to ask victims not to speak about the negative consequences or to be around abusive people just because abusers may nit like the consequences of who they are. There is no cure for either and therapy does very little to change the behaviour because they have no empathy and only change when they end up alone . Why would you ask people to put themselves in danger of cancer and ither horrendous illnesses just to pander and wnable abuse ? . If they don't like the results of how their behaviour affects their life , THEY can change . We do not need to protect abusers , we need to hold them accountable PERIOD ! If more people did so we would have less of them because they wouldn't be reproducing and abusing their children which then continues the cycle . Therapy is not a cure , the most that can be done right now is some slight behaviour modification which honestly doesn't add up to much . What you asking for is dangerous to everyone else and asking victims to foot the bill which is blame shifting and toxic . No one deserves to be abused and everyone has the right and responsibility to remove themselves from toxicity for their own health and safety . Let's not enable bad behaviour so they can be accepted which would only cause harm to everyone else and still wouldn't make much difference to narcissts and psychopaths . They are shunned for good reason and its actually usually when they lose all their supply thar they seek help so what you are asking is actually the opposite of helpful even to them because it's the consequences that make them do something and it's when they are going through narcissistic annihilation that they accept and integrate help more readily .

What's so fked up is she is at the edge of death. When she dies her mom, family and fans will blame all of us and jacklynn "the haters" for her Ed. I am a long time recovering heroin addict . Addiction is an addiction its dark and robs you of your soul. The best way I can describe life as an addict is your in a parallel world just like this one but your world is dark, gross, pain and suffering. Once you get help it's like you have stepped back over into the real world with brigh lights, love and happiness . It's insane where we walk as addicts.

@@georgettehelena Yes! It reminds me of when good kids start to hang out with the 'bad' ones and start adopting the same behaviors. They're influencing her attitude and she seems desperate to fit in. She always seemed so sweet or at least as if she didn't want to offend anyone. Now she is mimicking an air of "who cares what you losers and haters think" toward those who are genuinely concerned for her health and well-being. Her whole life for the most part has been tragic and a cautionary tale in my opinion. After she passes they'll probably make one of those sad docu-dramas about how preventable and unnecessary her death was.

I'm of an older (okay, old..lol) generation (GenX) and I don't do TikTok or other social media sites other than KZfaq. I'm into health and fitness and follow certain exercise trainers and I don't know if the algorithm picked up on the "health" bit and that's why she came through or what, but I was instantly mesmerized and horrified at the same time by what I saw. I was like, who is this and what the heck is she doing and learned more about her. As a mom with three daughters around her age, this both angers and saddens me so much.

I hate when people say that Jaclyn was malicious because "forced treatment always makes EDs worse." 1) Everyone is not the same. Many people benefit from involuntary/ultimatum treatment. 2) Even though Eugenia is angry about it, gaining some weight prolonged her life. 3) Jaclyn has never had an eating disorder. Even if my first point was true, how would she know that? She was trying to help and that's the only way she knew how.

You're totally right about control. It's a catch 22. Anorexia starts as a way to feel in control. Then one day you realize that anorexia is controlling every part of your life. It's sneaky and vicious. Eugenia has way more than anorexia. There is some personality disorder also. Being frail and emaciated doesn't mean a person is innocent or a good person.

Jeffree once got mad at the audience in a live and started ranting about how Eugenia it’s a adult and she’s fine and she can do whatever she wants and she was the most happy I’ve seen her. That’s how he enables her, hyping her to continue and normalizing her situation

Eugenia is doing this to herself, I truly believe the mother only allows her to be the way she is because she KNOWS Eugenia will run away and will probably die quicker if she’s not around. Anorexic people won’t look normal unless they they are fully recovered, which they never will be. Only few can say they are fully recovered

This comment may seem rude but as myself who has suffered for years with severe anorexia (recovered 6 years), the disease makes you inadvertently selfish in the sense you really only care about shallow things. It’s very appearance and control based in regards to oneself and in addition to the brain rotting that happens due to lack of nutrition, it doesn’t surprise me she didn’t care about the sa allegations etc. She’s not selfish in the sense of narcissism etc I think the disease has just gotten such a hold of her for so long she isn’t capable of actually empathizing with anyone but herself. Any attention is bad for her ED. It doesn't really care what kind of attention as long as it gets something to eat. Sometimes I'm not even sure there is still a person inside Eugina Cooney or if it has all been eaten away by mental illness.

I get where you're coming from, but I can't agree with the idea that mentally ill people shouldn't be married or have children, this is dehumanizing them, which leads to what happens with people like EC, they think to themselves, I'm not "crazy" ."crazy" people are bad, I'm not bad. So much that she can't or won't admit that something is very wrong. This perpetuates the stigma around mentally illness, I agree that people shouldn't abuse others, and that children shouldn't be subjected to abuse because a parent is unwell. But not all mentally ill people are toxic, and this broad stroked argument harms them just as much as the malignant mentally ill.

In our country people that are dangers to themselves are never taken in and then everyone that was around will be like oh we didn't know it was that bad. I've had them turn me away at a hospital because I didn't attempt suicide and wanting to kill myself and having a plan apparently wasn't a big deal to them. Luckily I found a place that could keep an eye on me anyways but damn I imagine it's ridiculously hard to get someone to do something even though she's a legit danger to herself.

@@stoneylibra It's highly unlikely there was any crisis team. If there had been they would have had her admitted to Hospital and likely then transferred to a clinic for EDs. She did not seem genuinely concerned about any alleged assessment that she mentioned and if she had been due to be seen and assessed she would most likely have been genuinely anxious. Instead you heard that Jeffrey Star creep shout out 5150 and it all seems like a calculated effort just so he could promote his makeup rather than EC being actually about to speak with a mobile crisis team. Disturbingly, she actually enjoys trolling and mocking those who are genuinely worried about her by deliberately using titles for her video that suggest she is going to take time offline and seek treatment when she never does and the self-same videos have nothing to do with those titles. Many people who were hoping she was being seen by a crisis team are now fed up with her mocking their concern and some are giving up on the hope that she will ever seek treatment before it is too late.

But since Lene was Norwegian, most probably it was subtittled. Lene's openness about her ED was amazing. Someone, probably a therapist, once told her that there was another way to immortalize things and stop the time from from passing so fast. The other way was photography. She accepted that idea and became a very famous photographer in Europe, talented as she was. You probably can find pictures she took of people and of herself on the internet ;-) She was on her way to recovery, loved travelling. She said when she was occupied with her travelling and taking pictures, her apetite came back. Sadly, she suffered a car accident that left her with immense pain in her neck and she was no longer able to continue her carreer as a photographer. The situation made her slip back into anorexia. Lene was so sweet. So was another French anorexic model that accepted to be photographed in a campaign bringing awarness against anorexia. Her name was Isabelle Caro. Both were so sweet, so honest about their battle against the ED. Both had a childlike something about them. I find different the anorexic women that developed an ED later on in life, like Karen Carpenter, the singer with a wonderful voice. I think her mother is to blame for her ED because she kept telling her she was too fat. She was also forced into singing when in reality she prefered to play drums (if my memory is good). @@amssma2there is a difference between watching her with no commentary, listening to her gaslight you about her health condition vs seeing the footage with commentary of someone pointing out her lies. That’s one way people learn and it helps them not be taken advantage of. To stop talking about her allows her to be alone in a room full of pervs and vulnerable people saying and doing whatever she wants. If she was only exposing herself to consenting adults, then yeah that’s fine, it’s on them if they get hurt… but she won’t age gate her content. I know the audience on reaction content is often older, so I just hope it’s parents becoming aware of what their kids could be exposed to.
