I disagree about the Lunar Beauty Advent Calendar. I am a singles junkie, so the idea of getting a palette full of singles & from what I understand Lunars formulas are pretty good. So I love the idea of getting that advent calendar experience but not ending up with a bunch of minis, you end up with full size eye shadows. It's less waste & less stuff. I love the concept, I wish there was some variety behind the kinds of formulas & shades in each calendar. But the CONCEPT, I Freaking love.

Uoma by Sharon C is around a year old. They started off with a small amount of products in Walmart and on the Uoma beauty site. Now they are adding to the line and are going to also be available in cvs. They do have complexion products it’s a good drug store brand

Colourpop actually has out a tester eyeshadow palette at Target. I was surprised to see that too. I wish more companies would do this at the drugstore then maybe you wouldn’t get home and realize it’s been tampered with 🥴

I'd love to see you do a video about your favorite fragranced/scented products. It could be skincare, makeup, candles, etc, and actual fragrances. I like your taste, plus I have some of the same skin sensitivities as you (so I feel pretty good that anything you use would be ok for me too), and it's an idea I haven't seen before!

The Lunar beauty lip oils are next level. If you try anything from the brand, that's the thing to get. I also own a highlighter, both blush palettes, and the nude prism eyeshadow palette. I bought the advent calendar because I liked the idea of getting one singular palette at the end instead of a bunch of minis. But I may have been suckered into the gorgeous aurora borealis on the packaging 👀 All of the Lunar Beauty packaging is really beautiful for a mid-range brand.

I have 5 Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks, and they're such a favorite! I keep repurchasing Rouge Tuxedo. (sheer red) I've purchased that shade 3 times already. So good!

The minis really depend for me. For instance those Rare beauty sets with the blushes are on my list bc those blushes are NOT messing around and I know I’d have to pass those suckers down to my descendants 😂. “That blush was passed down from your great-great-great-great-etc-grand mammy to me and one day, one day it'll be yours" *child hasn't been listening and has been fucking around on the internet with their mind* "k"

In the same vibe as neon blush for a highlight replacer: rose inc blush in Camellia. It’s very cool and light in a way that’s brightening, and has this beautiful sheen that’s plumping and brings the cheekbone forward.

I'm the red sparkly eyeshadow wearer. I'm the problem. It's me. That Lawless Winter Beach One palette looks like 2018 Tarte. It makes me so bored that my eyes cross. Also I hope I'm not the only one excited for your Simi Haze review LOL I'm not even their target customer formula-wise but frig I LOVE the clunko packaging. It reminds me of fidget toys. IDK why that's a positive association in my head but it is. GXVE Beauty, as a former beauty store employee, is such a snooze but it would be an easy sell, honestly. The little quad, I could have someone buy that in a heartbeat. The glitters are ridiculous. Why not do a liquid one like Urban Decay?

Natasha Denona did us dirty by releasing the retro glam palette after the Sephora sale. Come on Natasha, it’s inflationary times, we need the 2% discount! 😂 (to explain, taxes in Toronto is 13%. So we only get 2 - 7% discount as compared to other provinces during the VIB sale).

That shu umura eyeshadow palette is ideal for hazel & green eyes. Mauve with almost warm orangey tones and purples (lilac and richer) is a combo that makes green eyes POP!!

I had the best makeover of my life at a SHU Uemura counter in, like, 2005. They left the U.S. market for a long time (at least, for makeup; they continued to sell only hair care here). I still have the eyeshadow palette and they had an awesome formula. I wish they would put out more stuff now.

I believe Jill Stuart Beauty is a Japanese beauty company (and sort of US, her lines seem to be more popular in Japan). I’ve seen swatches of their blushes (those multi color ones) and they are quite pigmented. If sensitive to oils or certain ingredients, I’d advise to check the ingredients on their individual products before buying.

I was really excited about the new Makeup By Mario palette, until I studied it more. The colors look extremely similar to the nude quads he released at the end of 2021 beginning 2022. It looks like it’s all three quads combined into one palette. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! I know you are not into the character collabs, but Ulta and Disney teamed up to celebrate Magic Kingdom’s 50th year. I would love your thoughts based on the pictures. I've seen numerous people say that you're supposed to apply the powder blush first & then the cream over top. From what I've seen, it does appear to work better that way but idk since I don't own it. It seems odd for sure, I hope you can get some better advice!

Omg…EVERY LIP COLOR (especially pinks and nudes) looks more peachy on me than in photos. It’s so damn frustrating! I have zero interest in that Lawless palette and think it looks weirdly dated neutrals-with-a-pop, but I will say that those last two mattes are colours that wear very easily on my skin (light warm olive), in the way that you don’t mind pink around your eyes where some might find it sickly, they really suit me despite being maybe a little bruise-adjacent, they look very at home on my skin. I’m not disagreeing with your overall point, and have no frame of reference for the formula but just thought you might like to know that there are some of us out here!

She did her damndest to use the nazis to wrest control from him, but he had already taken steps to protect his interests. The fact that a jewish family has owned the company and will continue to do so has always felt like some kind of justice to me. It doesn’t fix the problem, but it does help.
