This looks very similar to iron hand and palm training. The bucket full of beans already brought some memories back. This is right(should start with water, go to sand, to beans, to gravel/pebbles, to tiny metal balls, onto stone/concrete. The main goal is to lightly fracture the bones, let heal, than do it again so that the bone grows a denser, less spaced structure on the inside. BIG NOTE, please use the oil Dit Da Jow to heal the fractures.

when i was young we trained like this but started with water then sand then gravel

Yes its better to start striking a liquid but dense brine is better than water because it toughens the skin.

God forbid should I find myself in a situation to where I have to defend myself I want to cause the most damage with out damaging myself. In this case my hands. I train in boxing and jiu jitsu.

I train it on a concrete wall for a week. It is painful like a hell. I will continue for 1000 days and wanna see the results. I test the spearhand strike on my own stomach, it stings, I can say this finger strike is effective but requires extreme conditioning.
@Unknown012522 жыл бұрын
How has it been so far?
@novrahadi85682 жыл бұрын
@@Unknown01252 I have no issues with normal finger function, my nails are a bit broken. My spearhand now can withstand a bone when I tested striking my own ribs and shin bone. This heavy conditioned spearhand really stings.

particularly for me I will likely never be in Japan BUT I not only train I am also a writer so if I can make my characters that much more real through some knowledge that is of great personal satisfaction even if only a small handful of people who may or may not read what I write would know the difference.
@SenseiNickFloresDojoTexas5 жыл бұрын
Big Member what is your name and email, I need it because I have written 50 stories of real karate people and their experiences. They are short stories of people I consider real traditional karate experiences and feats. If you have ever read a book called weapon less warriors, by Richard Kim he actually stole these stories from a u.s marine that did karate in Okinawa. Those stories were of ancient karate masters from Okinawa. My stories rival those of not ancient karate men but karate men of the present still alive and a few recently deceased. I have written these stories but I can't write good. I have published a book on Okinawa Kenpo and got a copyright. Could you be a ghost writer for me? My email is nfdojo@yahoo.com, thank you.

From training kyokushin under Hanshi Steve Arneil ..all i'll say is: In future please tell people they need to at least cut their nails very short for this type of training. And also mention the 'warm-up' and 'cool-down' exercises performed before and after training to aid recuperation. Sorry :) it's just a bugbear of mine that most videos of this training never seem to include any of the 'details' that should be included for safety (imho). Osu!

@SenseiNickFloresDojoTexas6 жыл бұрын
zawar salim No, the first time you do it you do it slow and soft then, you progress a little harder each time. This way you don't get hurt and you develop your hands to be tough. This is the safe way to make yourself tough.

Sensei Nick Flores Dojo I'm using the rough ones. And yeah the blisters went away and left my fingers callese up. I did it again today for 30 seconds and repeat. The first time I did it I was doing it for 4 minutes then take a 1 minute break then do it for another 4 minutes till I get 20 minutes in. I think that's why my tips of my fingers blistered up. I'm do it how you explained it.
