Today Reid and I dive into my Okinawan roots and make Okinawan Soba for the first time in celebration of Hawaii's annual Okinawan Festival. Growing up, my Okinawan grandmother made many delicious Okinawan foods however she never made Okinawan soba. Try it with us for the first time.

1 block Kamaboko (Fish cake)
1 stalk green onion
Pork Broth
2 lb pork bones
1 lb pork belly
4-5 pieces of ginger (1/2 inch)
