3 жыл бұрынThis storm was one for the books! Oklahoma, as well as most of the United States was hit by this Polar Vortex, "Snowpocalypse", or whatever else it's been called. Several days and nights with sub zero temperatures, leaving many Americans without water, electricity, and essential utilities. Although the snow was beautiful, the coolest part of the entire thing was getting to see Lake Hudson frozen over. Never in our lifetime have we seen Lake Hudson completely frozen over like it was. It was so very pretty! We hope you enjoy this video of us just simply documenting the 2021 snow storm!

So many wonderful clips. Even 10-15 seconds long, saved for a "rainy day" or "snow-megeddon" and then skillfully edited together with music, is better than many planned and scripted content. GREAT JOB!

So I was sipping my tea and loving the scenery and then Moses and Judah got playtime together and then bring on the baby goats. They are so colorful but my heart melted with white one and blue eyes, at least they looked blue lol. Not saying cleaning off the car and the rabbit hutches wasn't cool but when I see the animals it makes my day better. Did the chickens order that spaghetti with a meatless sauce? Lol. ❄️👍❄️👍. And the award for EVERYTHING about this video goes to the Sawyers. DANG the music blended into every scene was perfectly chosen. Worthy of watching many times again. The slo mo perfectly done ✅ and never overdone. I could feel the snow as dogs were shaking it off their coats. Both of them have grown so much. Moses almost looks like a wolf while I’d be afraid to have Judah walk up to me almost like his eyes is drilling into my soul. Both of them were having so much fun while baby goats looked like they needed to get their feet warmed up. Certainly have very furry coats but still wag their tails kneeling to get tummy’s warmed from mommas milk. Have I described all the precious scenes enough.......I don’t think so. This video was certainly magical especially with very few words said to ruin the magic. Ya let the music help tell the story. AND that’s why I say this video is a winner. Hope ya had no pipes break or loss of power. But knowing how you both always prepare and care for your land and animals I’m certain your home would be the perfect place to be stuck in through the Arctic freeze 2021. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you so much Bonnie! We only lost power throughout this whole thing for about 5 hours at one time. And had our faucets running almost the whole time, so no frozen pipes. Thank the Lord! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!

Beautiful animals, they all get so frisky when it's cold. I have a 10 lbs Jack Russell and Chihuahua mix, she gets so excited when it's cold, but we had nothing like you guys. God bless.

Oh my, just adorable shot of the animals. Spent 4 years in OK in Stillwater and I found that the weather can be anything there from this bitter cold to 105 degrees for over 30 days. And, it can change in a minute. Surely, never boring - but can be challenging.

Hello! Alex & Jacob, 🤗💕🌨️👍. Hope you and all the animals are doing well. What awesome aerial photos you managed to get. The snow covering everything is beautiful. Moses and Judah sure do love playing together and they both have gotten so big. This weather has definitely been one for the record books. I live in NW Florida and we usually have a few days of below freezing temperatures here and there, but I can't remember ever having this much continuous cold for this long of a time frame. This winter vortex weather has taken over so many states that it's just astonishing. The snow is definitely beautiful but it has wreaked havoc on so many states and so many lives. Maybe, it's God's way of cleansing the United States of America, so we can start over with a clean new slate and realize how much we need to include him in our lives.
