Looks like something i'm definitely going to try see i don't be scared of everything...lol.But can you get frozen and thaw them don't see fresh a lot at my stores. Nevermind i forgot we have a farmer's market.
@inthekitchenwithtallifaye4724Ай бұрын
You can use frozen!… Just don’t throw them out completely… leave them a little frozen so when you stir them into the batter they won’t come all apart on ya… But fresh is better if you got it 😊♥️

Hi Talli Faye 👋 Those little fritters look super good. Something so easy yet so good. I like that they have onions in them. I have a question. When you say purple hull peas (I think hull us correct, not sure), is that the same as black-eyed peas? I'm just curious. I have never in my life had a black-eyed pea. I guess I need to try them. When you do the yum-yum dance, we know they're good, lol. Love yas ❤️
@ladawngarland24888 күн бұрын
Hey there, the purple hulled peas are a lot like black eyed peas, A little smaller and they stay firmer when cooked , more like what we call field peas. The taste is very similar black eyed peas cook up creamier, but they are all delicious. You are missing out on a treat. 😊
@penguinandthechef73028 күн бұрын

I tried to find cornmeal mix in Wisconsin.....they had NO IDEA what I was talking about...😅
@inthekitchenwithtallifaye4724Ай бұрын
Oh wow!… Well, you can absolutely just use a simple cornbread pkt mix but use buttermilk and make your batter a tad thicker than the instructions call for 😊♥️
@hearthecrysofthecrusaders3357Ай бұрын
Come into illinois we have , or check mexican stores for cornmeal and add self rising flour and a lot of stores, I know the pig does, carry powdered buttermilk, make your own cornmeal mix.
